1. In order to work effectively with people from different cultures we need to listen out for their
attitudes to punctuality.

help to make decisions.

need support.
4. Listeners should listen silently to analyse useful information or ask questions to direct the
speaker to confirm things they know or inform them about things they do not know.
5. To make speaker feel that he or she is understood sympathetically by using simple phrases is
essential for listeners to do when people talk about their emotions and feelings.
