LESSON 11

Mga Senyales na Kinalulugdan ka ni Allah

SUMMARY:

POINT OF DISCUSSION

The point this discussion is for the believers to know or have enough knowledge about the signs if Allah (S.W.T)
loves us and for us to know what we should or we should not do in order for Allah (S.W.T.) to love us and bless us in this
lifetime. Some of us would ask ourselves if the Almighty god loved us whenever he tests us, and this lesson talked about
the signs that Allah (S.W.T) truly loved each of us. One sign is the saying that is famous to arab people, “if you want to
know what’s your place in Allah (S.W.T), see or observe where he put you busy in life.” In that way, we can sense or we
will feel if Allah (S.W.T) loved us. If you have the courage to perform the obligatory prayer, the zakat or compulsory giving,
fasting in the month of ramadhan, pilgrimage to makkah, and declaration of faith or in other words the 5 pillars of Islam. If
you’re doing these things with sincerity, that is a sign that Allah (S.W.T) loves you and he’s not giving you hard time doing
the things or he’s not giving you hard to follow him and the nabi. And so, if you’re having hard time to do those things that
were mentioned or more probably the obligatory player that we should do every day in our lives, that’s a sign that of being
a munafiq and a sign that you were unloved by Allah (S.W.T). Aside from that sign, it is also a sign that you were loved by
the Almighty Allah (S.W.T) if you loved him or sa madaling sabi, ay kung nalulugod karin sakanya.

Referrence:

ibn 'Umar (May Allah be pleased with them) reported:

Messenger of Allah (‫ )ﷺ‬passed by a man of the Ansar who was admonishing his brother regarding shyness.
Messenger of Allah (‫ )ﷺ‬said, "Leave him alone, for modesty is a part of Iman."

What did you learn?

What I’ve learned in this lesson is that there are so many sign that we should know or to have knowledge about to
know if Allah loved us. And those signs are so close to us as a Muslim. I’ve learned that one of the signs that you are
loved by Allah (S.W.T) is if you have the courage to do all the obligatory that Allah (S.W.T) ordered us to do and to not do
the things that are prohibited in Islam or in Allah (S.W.T)’s words.

OPINION

This lesson is well-explained and so as a listener, I’ve learned a lot in this lesson, especially when the instructor
said that one of the sign that Allah (S.W.T) really loved us is that we know to ourselves that we loved him. And also it is
mentioned that doing the obligatory prayer with sincerity is also a sign that Allah is happy and loved as a believer.

LESSON 12

Ang pagiging mahiyain ng isang mananampalataya

SUMMARY:

Point of Discussion
It is said in the hadith narrated by Ibn Omar R.A “The prophet Mohammad
(S.W.T) pass by in one men that belongs to the tribe of Ansaar that getting mad to his brother in islam who has
shy character, the prophet Mohammad said let him be and don’t get mad at him because having humility is part
of imaan or part of being a believer of Allah (S.W.T).”

What did you learn?

I’ve learned that having a shy character is not bad thing in fact it is part of our imaan where Natuklasan ko na ang

OPINION

This lesson is indeed a eye opener for those who thinks that having shy character is bad. Shyness is part of our
deen. Lowering your gaze and laughing in a low volume is not bat bagkus it also a sign that you’re well educated about
islam.

LESSON 13: ANG PANGANGALAGA SA SECRETO SA PAGITAN NG MGA TAO.

SUMMARY:

This lesson talked about keeping other people’s secret that shared to you. It was mentioned that keeping a secret of other
people to yourself has a reward in the Day of Judgment or it’ll be counted as your good deeds in the Day of Judgment. It is also
mentioned in the Qur’an that “if a man promised to his woman then he should keep his promise because if not, he will be punished
in the Day of Judgment.”

POINT OF DISCUSSION:
Allah S.W.T said:

(Indeed what you are promised will come to you and you will not cause failure [Allah S W.T].

Hadith: The most worst kind of people are those man having sexual intercourse with his wife and gossip to others what had happen
with them and same with women. And those are the pettiest person.

Hadith narrated by: Aisha R.A

Aisha R.A and the Prophet Muhammad S.A.W visiting his daughter Fatima and whispered a secret with his daughter and Aisha R.A
asked Fatima what is the secret of the prophet and Fatima said: she can't say a secret of Prophet to anyone. That only means that
anyone can’t say a secret to someone.

WHAT DID YOU LEARNED ABOUT THE TOPIC?

I learned that hiding the secret of others will be the best thing we can make as a believer because it is part of Imaan or believe in
Allah (S.W.T) and aside from that I also learned that if someone tell a secret to you, keep it and never tell it to someone because that
only means that someone who told you her/his secret means he/she trusted you.

WHAT IS YOUR OWN OPINION ABOUT THE TOPIC?

Being a trustworthy person is part of our imaan and it’s a good character to have, it is a good deed you will have done if you
know how to keep secret.

LESSON 14: ANG MAGANDANG PAKIKITUNGO SA BISITA

SUMMARY OF THE LESSON:

This lesson talked about the proper treatment for guests, in Islam teaching it’s not only about the obligatory prayer, the
fasting in the month of ramadhan, zakat and etc., but also islam also teaches us or the muslims in good moral and right conduct.
Islam teaches us how to treat other people nicely just like how we want to be treated. And this lesson talked about or will teach us
on how we should treat our guests properly whether they are poor or have big name in your place.
POINT OF DISCUSSION:

Allahu S.W.T said in surah:Adh-Dhaariyat;verse[24-28]:

(Has there reached you the story of the honored guests of Abraham?)

(When they entered upon him and said"[We greet you with] peace,[you are]a people unknown.)

(Then he went to his family and came with a fat[roasted]calf.)

(And place it near them;he said,"will you not eat?")

(And he felt from them apprehension. They said,"Fear not",and gave him good tidings of a learned boy.

Hadith narrated by Abu Huraira R.A. reported that:

The Prophet S.A.W. said (Whoever believes in Allah and the last day,let himsat good words or remain silent.Whoever believes in
Allah and the last day,let him be generous to his neighbours.Whoever believes in Allah and the last day,let him be hospitable to his
guests.)

WHAT DID YOU LEARNED ABOUT THE TOPIC?

I’ve learned that treating your guests properly is good deed as this character also done by our prophet mohammad (S.A.W)
and so we should follow that. We should be feel honored and grateful that someone visited us.

WHAT IS YOUR OWN OPINION ABOUT THE TOPIC?

May this lesson become an eye opener to all of us that treating your guests good is a good deed, not only for the guests but also to
all of people. May Allah (S.W.T) reward us for treating people with manner, right conduct and respecting them as we all deserve
that. May we all treated as good as how we treated our guests as this is one of the character of our prophet that we can adopt.
Allāhu'alam.
