Before Performing JAVA installation we have to perform Post-Installation

Activities
• Post-Installation Steps:
• T-Code: SLICENSE
• By default there will be temporary license, so we have to download licenses
from service market place
• The default temporary license as screenshot shows

• We have to download new license below screen shows the new downloaded
license

• T-Code: SICK

• Configure Transport Management System

• T-Code: STMS in case TMS is inconsistent we have to go T-Code:SE06 then
perform post-installation activities then come back to STMS delete the TMS
Configuration then try to configure the TMS
• Here I faced one issue while configuring STMS, below are the screenshots of
the error

• RFC related issue

• R3trans issue

✓ The solution for above screenshot are:

✓ We have to maintain host-entries
✓ Go to RZ10 and import profiles
✓ Check RFC connections in SM59 under TCP/IP connections
✓ Then upgrade tp.exe and R3trans file from smp
✓ Finally STMS would be configured

• Profile parameters for SAP Solution Manager 7.2 by RZ10 follow note:
2048519
• Then perform local client copy from 100 to 001
• Run SGEN
• We have to create users from SU01
▪ Now we have to do installation for JAVA, again go to SWPM and install as
per the below screenshot

▪ Choose the package path for SAPJVM6.SAR file

▪ We have to give the path for Java Component from Export Java
(LABEL.ASC file)

▪ Provide the SID

▪ Provide DNS name as mentioned in ABAP system installation

▪ Give the package path for Java component

▪ Provide the password same as given in ABAP installation

▪ As installed sapexe.sar saphostagent.sar igsexe.sar igshelper.sar sapexedb.sar

in ABAP system, you have to install all those files for JAVA installations
also, kindly find the below screenshots

• Give the path LABEL.ASC in SAP ASE

• Give the path for Java component as below screenshot shows

• We have to enter the configuration parameter details for database system,

mention the value and give next

• Enter the connection parameters for the external ABAP system.

• For the above error we have to give full authorizations for all the users which
mentioned in above screenshot
• As we did ABAP installation their it asked for SLD configuration we have to
skip this in JAVA installation also, as SLD configuration is post-Installation
activity of JAVA system installation

• It prompts for parameter settings then give next

• Installation is in progress

• It shows the that JAVA installation has successfully installed, below screen
shows

• JAVA installation has finished
