Product description:
UV varnish also known as photosensitive coatings, use ultraviolet light as the curing

energy for coatings.LC-2808-S is a type of ultrahigh wearing resistance UV varnish, has a

very smoothness surface after UV gloss lamination. it is composed of Epoxy acrylic resin,

monomer, photo-initiator, functional additive. This product don't contain any solvent. It is

widely used for printed paper coating, through roller coated by special glazing machine,

after UV lamp curing then change into a solid state film, makes the presswork beauty and

increase its anti-friction performance.

Use information:
1. Temperature: it can be used in room temperature with no solvent. If used under 18℃,
please warm to 30℃ for a better varnish effect, or keep the tank at 50℃+ 5℃. The top
heating temperature is within in 60 ℃
2. During downtime, can use alcohol, isopropyl alcohol, ethyl acetate or cleaning solvent
such as toluene to clean the rollers.
3. Coating weight: according to the paper, Generally 3～5 g/m² when on-line processing,
4～6 g/m² when off-line processing. (dry weight).

Application Various color box, cartons, book cover，product brochure, labels,IML, tags,
etc.
Operation 1. Offset In-line printing machine with coating unit.
2. Off-line coating, separate UV coating, old three-roller machine, spot uv
machine & anilox roller machine.
3. Flexo or Rotary machine with UV coating unit.
3. Drying method: ultraviolet mercury lamp.

Attention points:
1. Excessive or uneven powder spraying will reduce adhesion and gloss.
2. Some inks will repel the varnish, cause varnish pictures uneven or poor adhesion
strength, and even makes the ink color changes, this situation can be improved by
coating water based primer varnish first (our model is LC-1545, or 1515),then glazing
UV varnish.
3. After varnishing, it must be complete drying, otherwise it will cause many after-effects,
such as the gloss fading, color change, non-wear resistance, non-adhesion, etc.
4. After UV glazing, the paper viscosity will be poor, it should pay special attention of the
choice of paste and the paste operation to ensure the quality.
5. UV lamp should be cleaned, checked and changed regularly, guarantee the varnish
drying well and completely. Check the scraper and steel wheel regularly, otherwise the
back of the paper will touch with varnish and then stack them together and caused
 blocking.
6. UV varnish should avoid sunshine and heat in case of hardening. It is recommended
for a reasonable dilution, generally not more than 10% to ensure the glazing effect.

Security issues:
1. After curing, this product is non-toxic and non-irritating, but if skin touched with the UV
liquid, must wash with alkaline soap more than three time within 30 minutes Asap.
When clothes touched, should change clothes immediately, avoid skin burn caused by
a long time touched.
2. Keep the workplace in good ventilation.

Package:
20KG/barrel, 25KG/barrel,200KG/barrel, or according to specified packaging.

Security issues:
1. Should avoid sunlight & high-heat, don’t store with oxide materials. Store in shady and
cool, dry and good ventilation condition place.
2. Shelf time are 12 months from date of production.
3. Suggested storage temperature environment is 0℃-30℃, don’t below 0℃.
