Case Summary

The cline was Serena, an 11 years old girl. She was only child born into an affluent, but highly

conflicted family. Serena was referred to trainee clinical psychologists with symptoms of having

violent outbursts, disobedience of teachers and parents, misbehaviour at school, Hyperactivity,

Restlessness, deteriorating school grades, Mostly irritable mood, throwing tantrums on minor issues.

Client met the criteria for Oppositional defiant disorder and ADHD.
