ANTICIPATED PROBLEMS: If students have problems understanding the English tasks,
they will be translated into Romanian
WARM-UP
Aim: To create a pleasant atmosphere and to relax the students.
Procedure: Teacher greets the class and tries to create a pleasant and comfortable
atmosphere by means of routine conversation.
Interaction: T-Ss

LEAD-IN
Aim: To introduce the topic of the lesson;
Procedure: Teacher writes five sentences on the whiteboard and asks the Ss to write
them, too. T starts by asking questions using Do you…?
……….eats fruits in the morning.
……… likes eggs.
……… watches TV everyday.
……….. wakes up at 8 o’clock.
……… meets his friends after school.

The questions are checked with the class and they fill in the names of those who
answered positively.

PRESENTATION
Aim: To listen for specific information;
Procedure: T asks the Ss about things they do before and after school. The Ss answer.
T says the Ss that today they are going to talk about Daily activities and writes the title on
the whiteboard.
Then Teacher presents the Ss a power point presentation.
Time: 10’
ACTIVITY 1
Aim: To write daily activities in a logical order;
Procedure: The Ss have to resolve exercise 4, page 66, where they have to put daily
activities in a logical order. The Ss solve the exercise on the notebook then read the
answers. (pair work )
Interaction: Ss-Ss, T-Ss
Time: 7’
ACTIVITY 2
Aim: To match pictures with sentences;
To make sentences about their daily activities;
Production: The Ss receive a worksheet, they have to match pictures with sentences and
then make sentences and say the time they do an activity.

ACTIVITY 3
Aim: to ask questions about daily routines;
Procedure: T explains the Ss that they have to continue the questions he started at the
beginning of the lesson and that those questions are actually a game named Find someone
who… T shares papers with the questions and explains the rules.
First rule: Speak only in English!
Second rule: use Do you…?
Third rule: When you hear the bell ring you have to stop.
Ss have to stand up and ask each colleague until he completes all the spaces. T explains
that he will raise a hand when the game has to stop. When T raises his hand the Ss read
the things they have found about their colleagues.

HOMEWORK
Procedure: Ss have to write about their daily routine.
