TRIBUTE BY THE SEKONDI-TAKORADI WOMEN'S GUILD

Jesus said unto Her, "I am the resurrection, and the life; he that believeth in me,
though he were dead, yet shall live" - John 11: 25

Unassuming, calm and yet engaging is how we would describe our sister whom
we affectionately call Auntie Mary.

Madam Mary Kwofie (a.k.a Auntie Mary) joined the Sekondi - Takoradi E.P. Church
Women's Guild from the very beginning. She was one of the founding members
and was part of the group when it was inaugurated on 15th May,2016.

Although not the very sociable type, she participates in almost all activities of the
group even when it becomes necessary for the group to travel.

She even took part in the main rallies the group attended in Accra and Takoradi
respectively. Although she was having health challenges at the time.
Unfortunately, her health deteriorated along the line for which reason she could
not participate actively in the group's activities.

On the 21st March,2021 the sad news of her demise reached the group.

In fact the news of her passing away was with great dismay, shock and pain to the
group but as believers, our hope is to meet again when the trumpets sound.

The leadership and the entire group say;

Fare thee well and may the Lord keep you till we meet again.
