Luminous Cycling: A Proposed Glowing Bike Path

Proposing a Bike Path in the municipality of Rosario will lessen the traffic
congestion of the area and will have a better circulation of the vehicles, buses and
pedestrian. It will also encourage the residents of the municipality to use bicycle which
is also a form of exercise that can promote better physical and emotional state of well-
being of an individual. This proposed plan will also lessen the use of automobiles. Use
of automobiles emits harmful gases that contribute to the world’s problem issue and
concern which is the environmental pollution. Therefore, lessening the use of
automobiles is friendly to our environment.

This is a new road surface material that glows in the dark and is charged by
the sun and it is expected to work up to 20 years. A strong glow is retained for up to
eight hours following only minimal daylight. It is also a cheap yet effective solutions for a
good urban of the municipality.

Eco-Park and Playground: A Proposed Sustainable Park and Playground

The municipality of Rosario, Batangas lacks in recreational area and


activity, furthermore the waste pollution is the developmental priority issue and concern
if the municipality. Putting these two issues come up with a plan of a playground and
park that is made from recycled plastic and sustainable materials.

Greening Municipality: Using Regenerative and Adaptive Building

With the ever-increasing population and environmental pollution of Rosario


Batangas, implementing green architecture is a good approach for this. Green
architecture usually symbolizes the sustainability and these are the areas that are most
prone to the undesirable effect of growth and urbanization. This will improve
environmental quality of the natural and built environments of the municipality. It will
also serve as a tourist attraction as it is aesthetically pleasing to the public.

The concept is generally known as regenerative design. The word of


“regenerative” means “to create again”. A regenerative system is a waste free holistic
framework because it uses it as an input to be able to create further output which is
equal to or greater than its input.
Energy Efficiency: A Proposed Powerhouse
In today's world, most urban corporations have significant challenges in terms of
energy consumption. All around the world, there is a continuing battle to design energy-
efficient structures and sustainable technology.

Taking advantage of the geographical location of the building, having a tropical


climate wherein we receive for about 20 hours daylight almost every day, a powerhouse
is an excellent example of a building that proposes to produce double the amount of
energy that it will use in its life span inclusive of construction and demolition. Therefore,
being able to supply leftover electricity to its neighboring buildings and activities id
already a big step in the direction of energy efficient technologies.
Better Roadways: A Proposed Self-Cleaning Roads
The proposed plan is about water sprayers incorporated into roads. They don’t
just clean the surface of the roads but also regulate their temperature in order to prevent
them from cracking. This plan was the innovation of South Korea and bringing this to
the municipality of Rosario is a good idea.

Some part of road of Rosario Batangas is already cracked and were still unpaved
or still gravel/earth-filled. Proposing this plan into the municipality and making the
unpaved road concrete is a great step for better mobility and circulation of automobiles.

Basketball in Trash: A Proposed Creative Trash Can
Improper waste management in the municipality is the development priority issue
and concern. The municipality doesn’t have scattered trash bins. As a result of this,
town proper of municipality have trashes everywhere making it smells horrible and looks
terrible. Proposing this plan will encourage the residency to throw their trashes in proper
place in an entertaining way.

Multi-Purpose Furniture: A Proposed Social Furniture Made from Recycled


Materials
This project is a greenhouse, a bench and resting station. It is a compact place in
the center of the municipality where people can rest, enjoy a green oasis and even
charge their devices with renewable energy. This plan is a step for making the
municipality more sustainable and regenerative. It has also reinvented public benches
into works of art.

Colorful street: A Proposed Plan of Painting Streets Essential for Commuting


The Rosario has a poor unloading and loading of public transportation resulting
into a traffic congestion. This plan is the cheapest and quickest way for municipalities to
expand transportation options. This prioritizes proper location of loading and unloading
of the jeepney of Rosario.
