Maharishi Vidya Mandir Group of schools, Chennai aims to provide quality school education for the rural

Schools, Chennai in association with RVS Educational Trust started Maharishi Vidya Mandir School at RVS
Nagar.

RVS Educational Trust (Chennai )

Rathinavel Subramaniam Educational Trust (RVSET) was established in 1983 as a public charitable – Trust,
in fond memory of Master Rathinavel Subramaniyam the elder son of the chairman Lion. Vijayashree Dr.k.v.
Kupusamy and smt. K.Padmavathy, with objectives to create facilities for education, health care and upliftment
of the poor and the downtrodden especially of rural regions.

Our Temple

The great generous nature of our school management in this Academic year (2020) for all
students, those who have joined this year, One term fee completely waivered by RVS

nation. It will also display the respect we have to the freedom fighters who gave thick lives for independence.
Independence day celebration also inspires the young generation to serve the country. Hence independence day

Bharathiyar Birthday Celebration

The 136th birth anniversary of tamil poet ‘‘ Mahakavi C.Subramaniya bharathi was celebrated at campus
children dressed up as poet bharathi to mark his birth anniversary on 11.12.2020 at our campus.

 The students who participated in the programme facilitated by our school executive committee members
with prizes.
 All students recalled the significant contribution of the poet to tamil literature. Additionaly parents also
were eagerly participated in recollective of tamil poet Bharathi.
 To commemorate the birth Anniversary of Mahakavi Bharathiyar a pioneer of modern Tamil poetry,
students decorated the notice board with relevant quote and charts depicting the importance of this day.

Online Teachers Day Celebration

To mark the birthday of the countries former president, scholar, philosopher and Bharat Ratna
Awardee Dr.Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. We have celebrated online teachers day celebration we thought
teacher’s day celebrates the unique role that adult play in the lives of young minds and help shape the
future of a country.
All the students were wished to their teachers with love, all the teachers were shared their opinion in
the title of ‘‘My favourite teacher.’’
Online Ganesh chathurthi contest

Due to corona pandemic, we have planned to celebrate Ganesh Chathurthy contest in online, contest
title is ‘‘ECO Friendly Ganesha idol making with vegetables at home. We asked students to tell the
importance of the vegetable used by them to make idol. Main objectives of this celebration was to make
the students understanding about the significance of vegetable for the nutrients of potassiun, vitamin A and
vitamin C like Diets rich in potassium may help to maintain healthy blood pressure.

Vidyarambham is a hindu tradition which introduces young children into the world of knowledge,
letters and the process of learning. To facilitating this belief we have organized Vijayadhasami
Vidyarambham pooja at our premises.
The following rituals were followed by us on Vidyarambham, initially the mantra was written in the
tray of rice, grains by the child, then the master writes the mantra on the child ‘s tongue with gold. Writing
on send denotes practice. Writing on grains denotes the acquisition of knowledge, which leads to
prosperity. Writing on the tongue with gold invokes the grace of the goddess of learning by which one
attains the wealth of true knowledge.
