Hertz employees make a difference during

Ramadan

Ramadan is a month of charity,

reflection and community.
Following this spirit, Hertz UAE
and its associates were
passionately involved in various
social activities during the holy
month.

During this time, Hertz associates

partnered with charity
organisations to
organise activities to give back to less fortunate members of the community. These
partnerships were forged to leverage the organisation's resources to ensure that each
activity would have the greater impact on the people they were designed to support.

One such activity was Ramadan Clothes Collection Drive. Hertz along with associates
from other group companies came forward to donate clothes, soft toys and other
necessary items for the less fortunate. The proceeds were presented to the Red Crescent
charity at the end of Ramadan.

Throughout the month of Ramadan, Hertz also supported the Ramadan Sharing Fridges
(RSF) movement in Dubai, by providing logistical support for filling of community
fridges across Dubai. Every day, Hertz associates worked closely with RSF's operations
team, to collect water, juices and food from the warehouses and distribute them among
various fridges in Dubai until sunset. The support from Hertz included coordination
with the operations team, providing drivers, helpers and vehicles to carry out the tasks
in the most efficient way. The Ramadan Sharing Fridges Operations team thanked Hertz
team for the partnership saying “We simply cannot appreciate your support enough!
More than just providing support, thank you for adapting to our requirements – we are
surely looking forward to making a difference wherever possible.”
