ARISE AND SHINE: THE SECRETS OF UNVEILING THE BUILT-IN GLORY

(A) AN INVITATION INTO A DESTINY IN BEAUTY (Isaiah 60:13; 61:3)

The spirit of God is saying: “Your story is not over until your beauty is clear to all. Your destiny
will ultimately end in beauty!
(B) THE KEYS TO ARISING AND SHINING
There are secrets to reaching out to open heavens and provoking God’s glory. You can arise and
shine the whole year. You will be lamp and light. Don’t hide light under the table. Arise and
shine! What do you arise from?
a) Arise from inferiority complex to a competitive spirit. Life is actually made of attitude. You
need to have a change of attitude. Change your attitude to that of competition. You will
compete for opportunities, jobs, college chances, etc. Life is made and lived through
completion.
b) Arise from laziness to hard work. Read hard. Not only work hard, but smart. Toil. Put more
effort. Say bye to laziness, carelessness and sleep. WARM BED, COLD FUTURE.
c) Arise from anxiety to hope. Say bye to fear, uncertainties, worries and exam fever.
d) Arise from fearfulness to appropriate courage. Many young men have misconceptions of
courage. They have wrong courage, misled courage, misplaced courage and stupid courage. Be
strong and courageous (Joshua 1:5-8). Get meaning of courage: C - Challenge, not a problem;
O-organization; U-Understanding; R-Revise; A-Accept the fact that you are equipped; G-God
first, trust in God (Ps. 53); E-Engage
e) Arise from ignorance to knowledge about the world we live in. We operate under 3W’s
Wide, Wild, World!
f) Arise from rogue to tame. Learn to tame yourself. Get the meaning of TAME (T-Time
carefully; A-Accept yourself the way you are; M-Mix cautiously; E-Enjoy wisely)
g) Change friends that don’t think what you y
Prayer: “MAY YOUR GLORY BE REVEALED IN MY LIFE. MY TIME HAS COME FOR YOUR GLORY
TO BE REVEALED IN ME. IT IS MY TIME TO ARISE AND SHINE. STEP INTO MY SEASON OF
GRACE, FAVOUR, ANOINTING, WISDOM AND UNDERSTANDING” (Prov. 4.7; 24:3-6)

THE SEASON OF BEING SHOWCASED!

BEING IN GOD’S SEASON BRINGS JOY IN SERVICE; BEING IN GOD’S STATION
BRINGS FRUITFULNESS IN SERVICE. God has set seasons. In every season God brings the
message to enable his people go through that season. During the season the Lord releases grace
and favor. When the dispensation lapses, the grace is lifted. Do no miss on the timing.

To be showcased is to be in display or be in exhibition. When you enter GM/CMC Motor
showroom or upper clientele supermarket, you will be amazed at the beauty and elegance. The
way an item is packaged or displayed makes it sell or fail to sell.
A church being showcased is a church so adorned. It is a church that turns the word upside down.
(Acts 17:6) Are you ready to turn tables on your enemy? Are you ready to take the kingdom by
force? Are you ready to prophetically declare: “It is my season of being showcased”. It your
season of empowerment. You are on the path of being honoured. You will be the envy of many
(Numbers 22-24). No one can curse you because you are blessed. No amount of frustration,
witchcraft, divination or occult will ever prevail against you. In short when you are being
showcased you become invincible. There is no limitation. You MUST overcome all anti-progress
forces in your way. Remember, you are only limited according to the level of your attitude
or mindset. When you are being showcased, you become and object of attraction and honour.
Joseph is an example. He was a dreamer boy. He was elegantly dressed in a coat of many
colours. This coat implies foresight, drive, passion and faith in God and in himself. However,
let me throw some balance. The more your grace and favour, the more the enemies you will
attract. Joseph’s coat of many colours provoked much jealousy and envy. Purpose in your life to
be a man of integrity, depth and gravitas. Purpose to be a man of revelation and insight.
Purpose to do exploits and be engraved in the hall of fame, among those who leave a legacy. Do
you desire to be on the high place? The secret is in high praises. HIGH PRAISES FOR HIGH
PLACES. Praise brings the presence of God down. Are you passionate about generational
impacts and influence? Then discover also the secret in worship. Worship imply fragrance.
Worship should be in truth and spirit. Be filled with His presence until you overflow. Don’t run
on empty fuel. You should have enough anointing for yourself, your school, family, village,
region and even the nation. You have something to impart or pass on to the next generation. You
are being showcased to be a spiritual father or mentor or model for the next generation.
Remember how Jesus has influenced the world to date.
Rediscover the secret of prayer and spiritual warfare. This revelation will bring revolution in
your life. It is time you put your enemy to flight. Every eaglet ought to grow into an eagle. Every
caterpillar ought to turn into a butterfly. Put on the full armour and get on the battle field. Who
knows, the commander-in-chief the Lord Jesus Christ, may decide to conduct an impromptu
guard of honour. Be alert; it is inspection time. It is the season of being showcased.
The greatest (tried and tested) key to be showcased is to operate in wisdom and knowledge like
Solomon. His wisdom and elegance was legendary. The Queen of Sheba came from far and

confirmed the rumours about Solomon. Yet what she had heard was not even half. Wisdom will
attract wealth and honour in your life.
Look for biblical mentors. You equally need earthly spiritual fathers or coach. You need a
coach to give value to your talent. When you lack a coach you become a victim of reproach. You
cannot be self-made. Purpose to be a partaker in the season of being showcased. Get ready to
blaze a new trail, set new standards in spiritual and academic life, make new history, claim new
territory, and scaling new heights.
It is incumbent upon you to restore the name and dignity of the church in Mwatate Sub County.
This is a brand new church. The church is being showcased. It is a model church in Taita Taveta
County. It is the pearl – of great prize. Believe it. Internalise it. Conquer doubt and unbelief.
Don’t ever put a question mark where God has put a period. Don’t doubt in the darkness what
God has shown you in the light. Faith sets the time for divine visitation. Faith defies fate. SIN
CAN’T WIN, FAITH CAN’T FAIL. Whatever you don’t believe in will never get performed.
Your faith will give you a place in destiny. Great people are ordinary people with extra-ordinary
determination. When you are being showcased you become the salt and light of the earth. The
world is looking for fragrance. Prayer is a perfume of the soul. It is a sweet smell, good aroma
that pleases God. Remember to wear your prayer perfume today. Let it linger in every place you
go.
Conquer the spirit of fear. Fear will never let you leave home. Ships on the harbour are very safe,
but that is not what ships are made for. IF YOU WILL EVER DISCOVER DEEP SEAS, YOU
MUST BE WILLING TO LOSE SIGHT OF THE SHORE.
1Kings18:41-46. You are on the threshold of destiny (Weekend challenge theme). You are about
to cross into your promised land. There is a cloud the size of a hand. It is God hand of purpose. It
implies rain, harvest and abundance. It implies excellence. It is time to outrun and overtake the
horses. The horses are schools on the provincial or national KCSE charts.
