Topic: NAVIGATING YOUR PATH THROUGH LIFE

TEXT: Hebrew 12:2
[2] Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before
him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of
God.

There are three operative words in the topic.

Navigating means to plan and direct the course of a ship, aircraft, or other form of
transport, especially by using instruments or maps.
Path means the course or direction in which a person or thing is moving.
Life means the existence of an individual human being or animal.

How do I maximize my adventure in life?

What value are you adding to your generation?

In other words, how do I achieve a profitable living? In our text

Biblical Example

How Did Jesus Maximize HIS adventure in life. Luke 4:18

Until you discover who you are you never become what you are created to be. The discovery of your
purpose in life is called VISION
1. Vision: where do I truly belong, life without a vision, is a burden. Knowing where you belong
is the 1st step, to get there. A discovery of where you belong in the race of life. A definition of
your field is a starting point in your leadership journey. Until your field is defined, your
leadership potential will never have expression.

a. The Bible: The Bible is the revelation of God’s identity, character, purposes and actions.
Your understanding of God’s word, is what makes you outstanding in life.
Psalm 100:3 says God made us. A definite creature of a creator

 Jeremiah 1:5. We are individually and specifically packaged for a purpose. The
discovery is called vision.

16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for

Valuable adventure/profitable living 1 Timothy 4:13 and 15

13 Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine. 14 Neglect
not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of
the hands of the presbytery. 15 Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to
them; that thy profiting may appear to all.

Creators’ manual for maximized destiny. Joshua 1:8,

This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate
in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in
it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

Maximized destiny by the application of the word of God

The Bible is not mystical book to be conjure but a practical book to be applied.

Your mind is your most valuable assets, but it can also become your greatest liability, it is what you
allow into it that counts.

The Bible is like a spiritual mirror that helps you find your picture in God’s Agenda. The Bible
is God picture that helps to define your future. James 1:25. Mirror that helps you see who you
are, in God’s eye. What God says you are.

Your primmest time is between your 20 and 40. Responsibility is the price for greatness George
W. Your identity is your strength, when you know who you are, it energizes you to take the
responsibility require early.

b. Heavenly vision. God speaking directly Hab 2:1-3, Act 26:19, Gen 6:8, Exo 3:7-8, Judges
6:14. Heavenly vision is a reality.
c. Recognizing the burning passion within you. What is it that turns you on? Nehemiah had
unquenchable passion to see the dignity of Jerusalem restored, David couldn’t stand assault
of Goliath against the army of the Lord. Your passion in most cases is a pointer to the
problems, you are created to solve (Mike Murdoc)
d. By discovering the talents within you. A man gifts maketh ways Proverbs 18:16, Luke
19:17-19, 1 Timothy 4:14 Your giftings can occupy you. Your talents can be a pointer to
your assignment on earth.
Within 18 hours, I knew what’s the mandate but It took 28 months in getting ready for it

2. Ecclesiastes 10:15. The know how is where the task of leadership is. It is called Wisdom

That means: Your enthronement requires wisdom. Jesus defined wisdom in a very graphic way
Mathew 7:23-24.

It is the acquisition and intelligible application of acquired relevant knowledge. That’s why
every notable leader is a reader, every committed reader is a potential leader. The price for
leadership is universal, if you are not a reader, there’s no charm you can do, to become a leader.
RULERS/LEADERS.

That’s y we have more rulers in Africa that Leader.

Leadership is a product of Wisdom. Wisdom is the principal raw material for the making of a
king. Only dedicated leaders emerge as great leader. T.S Born, says when you stop learning,
you start dying. The Know-how is the costless aspect of leadership.
The two young men developed themselves to be global giant through the acquisition of relevant
knowledge.

You have unlimited capacity but it has to be developed. Your destination is arrivable Invest in
relevant knowledge to get there. It is Investment in relevant literature, that secures your future.
You are either building a library or you are building a mortuary. Have a personal schedule to
develop your future.

4. Discipline Ecclesiastes 10:16-17. Nothing distinguishes in the pursuit of life like discipline.
George Washinton said something that captivated my attention many years ago…. Discipline
is the soul strength of an army, it makes small numbers, formidable and procuring success to
the weak and esteem to all. Discipline is all about efficient management of your time, energy,
 resources in the pursuit of your assignment. Many time spenders and few time investors. Time
is an asset of equality; investors are the ones that makes most of it. Whatever you spent is gone,
only the ones invested holds dividends. It is interest that makes the difference. From 5% to
100%. Boyfriend and girlfriend syndrome has killed your intellects. It is staying focused on
your assignment body, soul and spirit.
