Text: Isaiah 60:1-3

Bangon, Jerusalem! Sidlak kay miabot na ang imong kahayag, ug ang himaya
sa Ginoo nagdan-ag na kanimo. 2Tabonan sa kangitngit ang kalibotan, u gang
katawhan tikyopan sa kangiob. Apan ang Ginoo mosidlak kanimo, ug Makita diha
kanimo ang iyang himaya. 3Ang kasanoran modulo sa imong kahayag, ug ang
mga hari moduol sa lamdag sa imong kahayag.

Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon
you. 2See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but
the Lord risen upon you and his glory appears over you. 3Nations will come to
your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn.

Intro:
Do you want to feel and see the glory of God in your life?
 Is there anyone out there who’s tired of hearing bad feedbacks about your
faith in God from your family?
 Arise or Barog Igsuon!
 And let them see the evidence of God’s glory in your life and time will
come that your family will said…
Is there anyone out there who’s their family members, children, father, mother,
brothers and sisters are not with them in serving our Lord?
 Then, believe in God’s grace that one of these days, all of your family will
join you in serving our God.
That’s Why…
Let the Glory of the Lord shine upon you and in addition…
 Prophet Isaiah said, “ARISE”.
 Arise from your Depression!
 Arise from your Hatred!
 Arise from your Shame!
 Arise from your Condemnation!
Barog diha, Arise igsoon!!!
SO WE HAVE TWO THINGS TO DO TODAY…
Why?
 Because we want to Shine.
 Because we want to Arise.
Tell yourself “Who am I?”
Always question yourself: Who are you?
 Who am I? LOVE AND DEAR BY LORD.
 Who are you? YOU ARE FORGIVEN BY LORD.
  What are we? WE ARE THE CHILDREN OF GOD.

OUR MISTAKES IN LIFE DOESN’T DEFINE US WHO WE ARE!

 Why do we need to SHINE?
 Why do we need to ARISE?
 Why do we need to get ready for this?
BECAUSE…

A. YOU HAVE AN EXCELLENT SPIRIT.

 EXCELLENT means extremely good or outstanding.
So, what are the mark or sign that you have an excellent spirit?
To have excellent spirit…
1. WHATEVER YOU DO, DO IT BEST.
2. HAVE A GOOD ATTITUDE WHILE DOING IT.
3. YOU HAVE A RIGHT ATTITUDE.
 COLOSSIANS 3:23
“Work willingly at whatever you do, as through you were working for
the LORD rather that for people.”
 Tell yourself, I AM EXCELLENT!!!

B. YOU ARE ANNOINTED.

Since you have the Holy Spirit right now the ANOINTING is there.
If you are anointed, surrender everything you have and you are.
To improve your anointing spirit, always stay near to the God’s guidance.
 Go to the people who will help you to stay near to God’s accordance.
 Go to the people who will keep and improve your faith.
 Go to the people who will train and help you to have wisdom.
 Go to the people who will raise you up and will transform you to the best
you can be.
God can easily perform a miracle everywhere and anytime through anointed
people.
Anointing means The Holy Spirit is Activated in You.
 The secret of being beautiful or handsome is the activation of holy spirit in
your life.
 There is a Language of Faith that will keep you rise up no matter what
position you are in.
 Allow the spirit to be activated in your life. How? Take it seriously.
 Take your actions seriously.
  Take your prayer life seriously.
 Take your Bible reading seriously.
GROW UP!
Because, you can never rise, you can never shine if don’t take it seriously.
Taking it seriously can make you expert.
That’s why we need to offer our expertise to the Lord.
Because we are anointed, our expertise can be use in God’s purpose.
 According to Luke 4:18-19
“The spirit of the Lord is on me, because He has anointed me to proclaim good
news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and
recovery of sight for the blind to set oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the
Lord’s favor.”

Conclusion:
That’s why, ARISE and SHINE!!!
Because….
You have an EXCELLENT SPIRIT
You are ANNOINTED
The big question is, ARE YOU READY TO ARISE AND SHINE?
