And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

Make free and set free are two different things.

Set free is to “release you”.

Make free: you become freedom itself; You will be made into freedom.

Demons then can’t get you because you can’t bind freedom. That’s why Jesus said YOU heal
them, because we ARE the body of Christ. You BECOME the embodiment of freedom.

There are humans born with a weak spirit and others with a strong spirit. Let me rephrase.
There are people who are born with a bruised spirit and others with a spirit who is not bruised.
But the right way to say it is to say with a “weak” or “bruised” spirit. If a lion becomes wounded,
it becomes weak.

Your spiritual capacity does not only depend on your physical body’s capacity or soul’s
capacity, but on your spiritual capacity in His presence.

The care of your spirit is not up to God but up to you.

Know how to increase your spiritual capacity in His presence

The responsibility of God is to give you a new spirit. but maintenance of your inner man is
completely on you - your own responsibility. It’s not on God. Just as your soul can be affected,
your spirit can also be affected.

Your heart may not be right, but your spirit also has the ability to also not be right. That doesn’t
mean your spirit has sinned although you spirit also has the capacity to mess up.

The reason why the Holy Spirit can’t operate in power in your life is because you have a broken
spirit.

Your body and soul can be spoiled as well as your spirit. Anything that can be preserved has
the capacity to be spoiled. Consider 1 Thessalnians 5:23:

Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify[a] you completely; and may
your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of
our Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Thessalonians 5:23

Psalm 51 also proves that our spirit can be corrupted:

Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.

• How do you know that your spirit must be renewed?

o When you can be in sin and comfortable – then your spirit has been defiled /
corrupted
§ Eg: cursing and insulting and saying unclean things without what your
conscious alarming you and not feeling convicted.
o If your spirit can’t tell you “You’re a child of God, you can’t talk like this” – then
your spirit is corrupted.
o Right spirit à This means your spirit can want the wrong thing!
o If you don’t’ have the consciousness that God is watching you, then your spirit
is corrupted!

Satan who was a spirit, his spirit became corrupted. Why would you, being a spirit, think that
your spirit cannot become corrupted.

God sees our heart. When David put the man the front line [in order to kill him so that he can]
get his wife, people could not see his motives. However, God could.

The spirit corrects the soul.

• The moment your spirit is affected, you are separated from the realities of God, and
cannot perceive God anymore.
• That’s why satan could think evil in God’s presence.
• How do you know that your spirit is defiled?
o When the voice of your consciousness is defiled
• If you can grieve the Holy spirit, then you can grieve your own [spirit]!

Prophet Lovy shares that he only keeps certain people around him in order to not to grieve his
spirit:
• Prophets don’t have friends / Don’t hang out
• True prophets are usually loners
• True prophets only include them and their family (which can include spiritual family but
also only specific ones).

spirit who can bear? But who can bear a
broken spirit?

• Do you know why you break when things don’t go your way?
o Because you have a broken spirit and can’t bear.
• Riches satisfy your soul. Satan tested Jesus’s soul when he used riches / kingdoms of
the earth. The human soul does not want hardship.
• Then the devil went further and tested his Spirit by testing him how much he trusts God
by tempting him to jump.

People in the hospital – those who have the will to live they don’t die. My brother Christian
fought for a long time. The day when he said he is “tired”, I knew that it won’t be long before
he goes to God.

A Strong spirit

When you have a strong spirit – you are unkillable.

When things get different or difficult you stop trusting God because you have a broken spirit.
When things are hard, you don’t believe you are a child of God [or Son of God].

That’s why satan said “If you are a child/son of God….”

I have been young, and now am old;

Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken,
Nor his descendants begging bread.

Psalm 37:15
Do you know why God told Moses “Go to the mountain and die.” Because God could not take
his spirit, his spirit was too strong.

People only die when they choose to die.

God could not take Moses’s spirit. That’s why God told Moses to go up the mountain.

Jesus was not killed. Jesus GAVE UP his spirit. Jesus gave His Spirit to God the Father and
then He died. Jesus’ Spirit was NOT taken from Him.

People with broken spirits have no ability to engage with God. They are the ones just watching
going on YouTube or Instagram [during church service], whilst other people are worshipping
and lifting hands.

That’s why you can go to church and leave untouched. The Word only went to your soul and
not your spirit.

The Story of the Lepers:

Remember the lepers that came to our precious Lord Jesus. They came to the Lord Jesus
because they were sick, but the others had no intention of following Jesus. They just wanted
to be healed and didn’t want to give their life or want heaven. They just wanted to be well.
They came to Jesus, and He said “Go, be made clean”. It was a week to travel to Jesus (7
days). When they got back, they realised they had been healed. They did not immediately see
their healing. And when they got back, one of them said he must go back and say thank you.
They said, “you go, we got what we wanted”. When the one went back and fell on his knees
and said thank you. And then the Word says, “and the Lord made him whole”:

And it came to pass, as he went to Jerusalem, that he passed through
the midst of Samaria and Galilee.

And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were
lepers, which stood afar off:

And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on
us.

And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto
the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed.

And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and
with a loud voice glorified God,
16
And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a
Samaritan.

And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are
the nine?

There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this
stranger.

And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.

Do you know what it means to be whole?

It means to be whole in your spirit, soul and body. If your spirit, is not made whole then you
are not whole. All 3 must be made whole.

Jesus came so that you can have life, and life in abundance. The life of God always flows from
the Holy Spirit into your spirit out of your spirit into your soul. From your soul to your body. You
are not called by God to only have scripture or the ways of God in the mind. God wanted this
law to be written in your heart and also in your spirit.

When something is in your spirit it is a natural reaction. You just do it. When something is only
in your soul and not your spirit you struggle to do it because your entire being is not aligned
to carry out the will of God.

Do you know why you struggle to pray?

It is because your soul and you spirit are not together. Your spirit wants to pray your soul wants
to watch Netflix and so they fight. The soul does not want to be subject to your spirit.

We need to be more thankful. The leper was made whole because he said thank you.

The importance of the inner man:

Many people brag about how much money they have. But God says don’t just focus on
adorning your outside man.

NB: You are a reflection of your inner man. – everything about you outside is revealing your
inner man’s condition.

“I’ve been born again, 50 years” – This is not something to brag about. The important thing is
rather “WHAT IS THE OUTCOME?”

Jesus said, “and these signs shall follow them….” (MARK 16:17-18) If there is no signal of a
changed inner man, your outside life can’t change.

But those who wait on the LORD

Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.

Isaiah 40:31 (NKJV)

The strength of man is from his spirit, that’s what helps you to bear. The spirit helps through
prayer, with words that cannot be uttered.

First Renewal then Strengthening:

When your spirit is broken, you can bear life anymore. To bear life is to bear pain. The
evidence of life is pain. When a baby is teething – pain. When you born, doctor smacks you
to breath – pain.

You can be very strong. But if you don’t rest or your strength is not renewed, you will not last
very long. My strength and condition couch allows me to increase my capacity to maintain
power. It doesn’t matter if I hit so hard, if I can only throw one very hard punch, the devil will
destroy me. That why conditioning is important in sports. Part of their ability to main sprints to
go fast, your body must be conditioned to maintain the power to go faster.

A strong punch is good, but what if your enemy CAN take it. And that’s all you could throw?
Your done! Your done and then you enemy will destroy you. Conditioning allows you to
maintain strength.

Those who wait upon the Lord, he shall renew their STRENGTH. So there is a place whereby
your strength shall be renewed based on your capacity. To renew strength and to be
strengthen are two different things. To renew: to be refreshed. Strength: MORE strength is
adder to you. You spirit needs BOTH!

Angels minister to us and strengthen us:

Then Jesus said to him, [a]“Away with you, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship
the LORD your God, and Him only you shall serve.’ ”

Then the devil left Him, and behold, angels came and ministered to Him.

The reason why Jesus prayed “let the cup of suffering pass” – The bible says, and the angels
of God came and STRENGTHENED Him. He needed another level of strength in order to bear
the cross. An African man helped him carry the cross because it was too heavy for Him.
Physically Jesus was weak, but inside Jesus embraced the cross; he was ready for the cross
because the strength he received [from the angels] was not physical but spiritual. So, the
spiritual strength allowed to him to bear the nailing, the wiping, insulting.

A broken spirit is the reason people become defensive when people say nasty things to them.

Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless
not my will, but thine, be done.

And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him.

Notice that Jesus never prayed for a renewed spirit. He only needed His spirit to be
strengthened. So, before your spirit can be strengthened it must be renewed. When it is
renewed, the level you maintain now (if God sends his angels or the spirit of God comes) you
can be strengthened beyond where you are.

Prophet Lovy’s Testimony:

When I started the ministry, those who are with me from the house [will remember]. Sometimes
it would take me 4 hours praying for one demon to leave. Some demons were easy, but some
took 4 hours. I would be praying for people from 7.30pm to 5AM is when people are leaving.
My strength was increased. Now demons can’t even last 2 minutes with me.

This is the key: You cannot be strengthened… [speech cut]. Remember, Samson prayed, and
God strengthen him, his hand grew back but his capacity was not good enough for where he
was. Samson was strengthened and his strength came back but now he had enough strength
to pull down a WHOLE colosseum!

To renew your spirit and to be strengthened in the spirit are two different things.

[27] He that hath knowledge spareth his words: and a man of

understanding is of an excellent spirit.

So, your ability to understand is based on your spirit.

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and
of a sound mind.

2 Timothy 1:7 (KJV)

Fear is a sign that you are broken. Notice your sound mind is an effect of your spirit. if you
have no love your spirit is broken. If you can backbite and do things against people, you are
broken.

Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I
will be exalted in the earth.

Psalms 46:10 (KJV)

Demons are always moving around because they don’t have peace. You need to be able to
be calm. You must have stillness. Someone with a demon has no peace. They lack stillness
and can’t be calm. To be still, if you are able to be calm before storms it shows that your inner
man is good.

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

So if your spirit is broken how can He strengthen you? Jesus strengthens the inner man, if the
inner man CAN be strengthened. Some of you [first] need a renewing AND THEN
strengthening.

HOW TO BUILD UP THE INNER MAN:

The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O
God, thou wilt not despise.

Psalm 51:17 (KJV)

1. Humility:
During this time, David was repenting because of the sin that he had committed. We
need to be humble. When you break yourself you break yourself with humility. Even
Jesus, always was saying “my father, my father, my father” he never spoke of himself.

Jesus chose to be broken on the cross on his own accord so the father can accept him
as a living sacrifice. You being beaten by a demon is not a sacrifice.

2. Maintain the presence of God

Learn to maintain the presence of God. This is something people are not taught and I
don’t know why. Whenever you are in the presence of God and you feel the presence
of God, be alert and aware to maintain that presence, because it’s in that time you
spirit man is being renewed. Those who wait (remain with the Lord), actual word used
is REMAIN. So if you are praying and switching to tongues and I feel the surge of the
anointing of God, then I remain praying in tongues for as long as I can so that that
presence does not depart from me. Because its within the presence that my inner man
is strengthened. The moment you stop praying in that example, you are disconnected.

That’s why Jesus said stay in Jerusalem and wait for the Holy Spirit. Then they went
out boldly because their inner man had been strengthened.

Pray until the presence comes, when the presence comes DON’T STOP! Its like lifting
weights, when it burns you don’t stop, thats when you push harder.

Jesus said HE will never leave us, He was not referring to the Holy Spirit. The Holy
Spirit can leave. That’s why David said “don’t take your Spirit from me” because He
knew the Holy Spirit can be offended.

When Moses experienced the glory of God, which is the cloud of God or presence of
God. it was different from the Spirit of God. When Jesus was praying and the cloud of
glory came down, it does NOT say the Spirit of God. The cloud is the presence of God
(“kabode”) which is tangible.

There are a lot of churches today. The Holy Spirit is there. No people are being healed. No
demons cast out.

Why?

Jesus said if I cast out demons, I cast them out by the Spirit of God. So, the churches are
singing “Hallelujah, Oh I feel the presence”. No demon being cast out. It means their realm of
maintaining the Holy Spirit is not what you think. The bible says it like this:

Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is
liberty.

If the Holy Spirit is in that place, it is impossible for demons to be in that place. It is not the
same experience.

The Kingdom of God is full of mysteries. For example, there is an ability to deliver people
solely based on your relationship with the Holy Spirit and other are gifted in it. Some people
just say in a room “every evil spirit, come out” and people are delivered. It’s because the
dimensions are different and are not the same. Some ministers first want to
“renounce/denounce” which is good but others don’t need to. We don’t know it all. I don’t know
everything. No man is an island.

God made a distinction between Moses who was a prophet and Aaron them who received the
prophetic. He said “I will reveal myself and make myself known to them, but not so for Moses
because he has been faithful in all my house”. This means, your faithfulness determines your
dimension. That’s why God spoke to Moses face to face for example. Same God; different
experiences.

This is why, as a child of God, humility is the master key.

Baptism is not a New Testament thing. It was done in the Old Testament but it was only for
the priests. It was not a new thing that is why pharisees never fought them. Even exorcism
was not a new thing.

The application of the same thing is different because of grace. That’s why we don’t throw
away the Old Testament. That’s why we still repent, but we don’t apply bulls but rather the
blood of Jesus.
