Using Calculator

You can use Calculator to perform simple calculations such as

 addition,
 subtraction,
 multiplication, and division.

You can perform calculations by clicking the calculator buttons, or by using your
keyboard.

You can also use the numeric keypad to type numbers and operators by pressing
Num Lock.

Basic Steps to perform a simple calculation.


1. Type the first number in the calculation.
2. Click + to add, - to subtract, * to multiply, or / to divide.
3. Type the next number in the calculation.
4. Type any remaining operators and numbers.
5. Click =.
You can also use number keys on your keyboard or numeric keypad.
 To use the keypad ,make sure that the Num Lock button on your keyboard is
turned on.

Add Adds the next number you enter to the current number.

Subtract Subtracts the next number you enter from the current number.

Multiply Multiplies the current number by the next number you enter.

Divide Divides the current number by the next number you enter.

Square root Determines the the square root of the current number.

Percent Determine the percentage that one number is of another number.

Reciprocal Determines the reciprocal value of a number (The value when you

Total Displays the result of the operation you performed on two numbers.

Clear Entry Deletes the entry you currently keying in.

Memory Store To store the displayed number in memory, click MS.
