“The Greatest Treasure”

Before I start, Can I ask you a question? This question will
enlighten every each of you. Have you ever forgotten the Filipino
Values? Are Filipino Values were really being forgotten? If yes,
why? What happened?
As a part of the youth, nowadays, I observed that our
treasure, the Filipino Values are now being neglected. I saw many
young people lost and disregard their greatest gifts from our
ancestors that we must treasure.
As time passes by, little by little, we’re losing the chance and
opportunity to value our values, one of the reason is
‘globalization’, we’re easy to be influenced by the other country,
that’s why our young one’s are encouraged to patronized the
other country’s way of living, and as a result, everyone’s changing
their culture, beliefs, and specially the values, that we must
preserve and that should remain in our system.
Because of this, we Filipinos are described and known for
being hospitable, religious, family oriented, hardworking, and
generous. Yes, we, Filipinos are not perfect, we also have negative
traits but despite of it we have great characteristics that we
should be proud of.
We are a Filipino, it must be here in our heart, don’t let it
fade away, as easy as that. Don’t let your values vanish by the
mindless people. Treasure it and just continue to generate it. And
passed it through the next generation.
