3. pt at risk for chronic renal insufficiency leading tokdiney failure?

Answer:
When someone has heart disease, their heart may not pump blood in the right way. The heart may
become too full of blood. This causes pressure to build in the main vein connected to the kidneys, which
may lead to a blockage and a reduced supply of oxygen rich blood to the kidneys. This phenomenon is
known as renal hypoxia. Since there is now a decreased oxygen tension in the kidney, it reduces the percent
of glomerular filtration rate without any change in total renal vascular resistance
