Now moving on to Formula 1, where Lewis Hamilton claimed another victory this
season and Alpine driver Fernando Alonso achieved his first podium in 7 years, after
waiting 105 races. Hamilton remained in 1 st position for the entirety of the Qatar
grand Prix, after starting in pole position. He never really suffered any challenges
throughout the race, compared to others such as fellow Brit Lando Norris, who
suffered a puncture within the last few laps. However, in an overall brilliant race for
Hamilton, the question remains still – ‘Who will win the championship this year?’ With
an 8-point lead and the season end nearing, rival Verstappen cannot afford to make
a mistake, as Hamilton closes in on the gap.

The question remains as to whether or not it is safe to let fans inside stadiums? With
fan’s safety being at risk, many are currently asking if fans should be allowed to
attend games. On Friday, at 9:50pm, a man from the Luton area was found by police
and taken to hospital, now remaining in a life-threatening condition. The suspect
remains in custody, after being charged with attempted murder. Despite the fact that
the incident occurred outside of the stadium, fans safety should be a priority and
measures such as extra security should be put in place to prevent these things from
happening in the future.

In the managing world we have some sad news for some. After a trophy-less 3 years
in charge, Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been sacked.
Here’s what he had to say about it. Insert interview audio clip. Temporarily, former
midfielder Michael Carrick has stepped in as manager, as we await news on who the
next manager will be. Potential candidates include former Spurs manager Mauricio
Pochettino.

That is all for today, thank you for listening.
