IMPORTANT NOTICE TO UG/PG STUDENTS (OTHER THAN B.TECH FINAL

YEAR)
This is to notify that the schedule of End Semester Examination (Regular/backpaper) Even Semester,
Academic Session 2020-21 to be held during June 21- July 12, 2021 for B.TECH (All Branches)
(IVth & VIth sem), MBA (IInd & IV th sem) , M.Sc. (IInd & IV th sem), M.Tech (IInd sem),
Ph.D.(course work) & MCA (IV th sem.) students is available on Academic portal of the Institute
Website (htttp://academics.mnnit.ac.in).Guidelines for conducting Online End Semester
Examination , as given below

1. The End Semester Theory Examination for B.TECH (All Branches) (IVth & VIth sem),MBA
(IInd & IV th sem) ,M.Sc. (IInd & IV th sem), M.Tech (IInd sem), Ph.D.(course work) & MCA
(IV th sem.) students will be conducted as Viva-Voce Examination. The Evaluation will be of 60
marks and will be having following components-
(a) 30 Marks for Viva Voce Examination
(b) 30 Marks will be based on Max (Previous CPI, Previous Semester SPI) of the student.

2. The End Semester Theory Examination for MCA Ist semester will be done Online. The
Evaluation will be of 60 marks and will be having following components-
(a) 30 Marks for Viva Voce Examination
(b) 30 Marks for Quiz based Examination or assignment of practical nature.

Rest 40 marks will be evaluated based on internal assessment as per the established practices. The
Practical Examination conduction and evaluation are to be carried out as done earlier.
3. The Practical examination conduction and evaluation will be the same as implemented in previous
semester and the schedule of the same will be provided by the department.
4. All students should adhere to the time slot assigned to them for examinations, except in case of
unavoidable circumstances.
5. In case, a student is unable to appear in the scheduled examination due to prevailing COVID
situation or any other genuine reason, he/ she should give prior information of the same to the
Course Instructor. Course Instructor may reschedule the viva-voce examination for such students
within the permissible time frame.
6. Students must keep with them valid Institute Identity Card during the examination. They must
produce the same to the course coordinator/instructor for verification if asked for.
7. Students should contact the course coordinator/instructor through mobile/email etc. in case of any
difficulty.
8. The course coordinator/instructor will create a team/class over online platforms like MS Teams,
for the examination (online digital assessment).
