1. Is your house suitable for your needs? Why?


Yes, our house is really suitable for our needs, although it is simple but it
contains a lot of things that helps us to survive and have a good feeling. Aside from
that it has also a clean and orderly bedrooms, which gives us a privacy, and which
we used when sleeping and making ourselves comfortable or taking some rest or to
relax. We also have living room which we use to play, watching movies, and
jamming together. We also used living room when receiving visitors. We have
comfort room and dirty kitchen as well. Even though our house wasn’t that bigger,
but it is strong enough and have a safe structure that protect me and my family from
the weather, rain or shine. We also have adequate supply of water and Proper
ventilation and lighting. In short our house is very suitable for us as it makes us felt
comfortably and it satisfy our physical needs.

2. How would you make your house suitable for your needs?
Literally, we don’t need a big house; simple house is enough as long as it
contains the things that make us feel satisfied and comfortable everyday. We should
situate that we have those things that we really need, especially the facilities for
sleeping, working, and receiving visitors, strong and safe structure to protect you
from the weather, clean and orderly rooms, and have privacy. It is also in a
convenient location like nearness to the school, market, church, or your workplaces.
You need to have adequate supply of the water and must have proper ventilation
and lighting.

 Rural- Rural is an open swath of land that has a few homes or other
buildings, and not very many people. A rural areas population density is very
low. In these area there were few people lived and their business are located
far away with their homes. This rural is related to our topic because many
rural people were migrated in the city. The people increases and the needs
also increases and these leads to problems. It causes lack of facilities and
other needs of the people like water, electric and many other.

1. What are the housing problems that people encounter?

The common housing problems that people encounter shortage of facilities when it
over populated, there were also lacks of water supply, power supply and etc.

2. What are the causes of this problem?

The common causes of these problems are the population, the increasing
number of people creates problems and facilities, also the migration of rural people
to the city and the industrialization.

3. How are these problems solved?


These problems could be solved through creating various things like if the
house were lack of space and privacy, you could possibly use built-in and hanging
cabinets, double purpose and folding furniture, and divider. If the fund for the house
construction is short, apply loans from the government agencies such as GSIS, SSS,
and Pag- IBIG. Also maximize the use of land through proper zoning which means
designating the development of certain areas for specific purpose.

4. How do these problems affect the lives of families?

These problems affect the lives of the families by suffering, of course when
they don’t have a shelter they could not be safe and couldn’t feel comfortable.

particular are that you need to emphasize through arranging the furniture in such a
way that the attention of the people will be directed. Also the balance you need to
make your balance in your room, it should be the room is exactly the same as the
other side. The proportion also this shows the harmonious relationship among the
various elements of the arts. The rhythm as well, which relates to organized
movements and the harmony. Harmony is a principle of arts which shows the
impression of unity through the arrangement of objects and ideas in a consistent
manner.

Cabinets are necessary to the bedroom in order for us to be able to organize
our things such as clothes and other important belongings. And this also helps
our bedroom clean and orderly.

Basically the implication of a flower vase or fruit tray at the center of the dining
table is to indicate the tone/feeling that people have about being together, it lets
people know that you think they are important enough to put in extra effort for
them and it also influences the appearance of the food served.

day before doing our school works, we first do cleaning in the house and
preparing food for the family.

1. Why it is important to learn how to do simple home repairs at home?

We need to learn to do simple home repairs at home, in order for us to easy


repairing on our own without depending on other people. As there were instances
that we really need to fix something in our house right away, but if we don’t know
how to repair we need to call for help and what if there’s no one we can call off. Then
it’s a big problem for us, and so we need to know and have knowledge for at least
we can easily fix and repair things abruptly and less cost as well.

2. Why do we need to understand the basic concept underlying the process and
delivery in home repair and maintenance?

In order for us to have knowledge about it and we can complain if we can see
or feel that there were something wrong or we can also be able to help them
particularly in repairing and maintenance.
