PLP3
Varun D Murthy (BD20070)
Session in Brief
The session began with the analysis of a couple of PLPs submitted by our peers, Aban and
Shreyashi. The session went onto describe a structure of PLP and detailed feedback and
discussion session about the positives and the negatives of the PLPs from a learning point of
view. We also learnt that a descriptive PLP will be more impactful in terms of explaining the
learning and the action plan and stating examples always add value as it gives a personal
touch to the process and gives room for introspection. It was followed by a Q&A about PL
We learnt that studying an individual’s behaviour and its effects on an organisation are what
we call OB.
We got into a discussion on roles and how expectations of people about how individuals in
those roles should be and got to know that expectation differs with each stakeholder. High
performance is when one achieves unreasonable expectations. The results of not performing
responsibilities also depend on the stakeholders.

Key Learnings
Expectations of people about how individuals in specific roles should be and got to know that
expectation differs with each stakeholder and even the results of not performing
responsibilities also depends on the stakeholders.

Action Plan
I aim to understand the expectations from me in my roles to minimise conflict of interest with
the stakeholders and know the consequences of not performing those responsibilities and try
my best to stay clear of those consequences.
