INDUSTRIALIZATION, IMPERIALISM, AND AMERICAS ENTRY INTO WW1

The minority groups for instance the Africans Americans and the child workers were

treated distinctly from other individuals making them to face various challenges as their socio-

status was distinct. The black migrants were gaining entry to jobs new in manufacturing in the

north. At the same time in the southern manufacturing whites performing same duties as blacks

were payed more money even though the difference was small (African Americans in the

Twentieth Century, n.d.). Black staff members entailed limited jobs and majorly remained

concentrated heavily in the positions of unskilled laborer. The children forced to do labor caused

sexual, slavery and economic exploration by cutting off children from health care and schooling

hence making a restriction to their rights fundamentally and in addition giving threats to their

future

Industrialization was brought a positive impact to the minority groups. Worker

productivity was greatly benefited from various inventions i.e., typewriter and cash register. The

tools invented ensured the rapid business growth pace was being able to be maintained. Steel

production led to major advancements hence making various builders and manufacturers in

preferring steel as compared to the iron since it entailed an increased durability and strength (US

HISTORY, n.d.). As a result, the industry of steel was becoming rapidly the American economy

cornerstone hence remaining as the indicator primarily for the stability and industrial growth

during the World War 2 ending.

Various policies have been set in ensuring the communities are uplifted and more

opportunities are established for the mobility upwardly. It is vital for a community not ignoring

the population as it is illustrated as a portion significant for the community of Africa American

and in addition the population of the United States. In curbing child workers, the governments

have established and enforced various laws which are setting standards of work for instance the

minimum age for any individual before working. Laws which are upholding the child’s right for

instance compulsory education and child labor have been established.
