One cannot deny the contribution of international educational institutions like beacon
house in the development of quality education. Such institutions of today are thus much
more than just a local school. The pattern and criteria of foreign school is world
recognized. These schools follow O-level and A-level UK based standard. These general
certificates of education enable students to enhance their intellectual skills. Small
children and other students learn in the creative environment in such schools, because the
syllabus is designed after conducting thorough research. In this sort of international
educational institutions Students aware from real time scenario. So we can conclude that
such educational institutions contributed well in Pakistan where education has suffered
from number of issues including underinvestment, and failure to implement five-year
plans. A school of thought also argues against the educational structure of international
pattern education in Pakistan. They evident that the educational courses of these
international schools are not according to the religion, culture and social values of
Pakistani nation. An education System reflects and strengthens social, cultural and moral
values, therefore, Pakistan’s educational should be based on the core values of religion
and faith.
The debatable story is also that the level of education which international educational
institutions are providing in major cities of Pakistan, a vast rural towns still have
miserable local school which lacks quality education. For instance, beaconhouse school
system has its branches in 30 major cities of Pakistan and many other small cities still
behind in education. Is it the responsibility of Government to focus on an equal providing
of education for all? Should Higher education commission revise the policies regarding
education for international educational organization? Experts suggest it should be made
mandatory for international institutions to also open a fixed number of branches in the
certain rural area of Pakistan. Do you agree the opinion?
