Review of related literature:

Coronavirus is a contagious disease, which is spreading very fast amongst the human beings.
Coronavirus circulates in animals, but some of these viruses can transmit between animals and humans
(Perlman & Mclntosh, 2020). The impact of the COVID-19 epidemic on the education sector has resulted
in extensive school and college closures around the world. Closures of schools in response to the COVID-
19 outbreak have brought to light a number of challenges limiting educational access. Similarly, school
closures can have an impact on pupils by disrupting teacher and student networks, resulting in low
performance. Bridge (2020) reported that, in order to minimize a strain during the pandemic season,
schools and universities are leaning toward educational technologies for student learning. As a result,
the current study's goal is to construct and evaluate a conceptual model of student satisfaction with
online teaching during COVID-19, when both students and teachers have no choice but to use the online
platform for learning and teaching without interruption. The current Coronavirus pandemic is driving the
world to experiment with remote education. There are numerous signs that this crisis will affect many
sectors of life, including education, if remote teaching proves to be a success. Without a question, the
move to online learning as a result of COVID-19 was abrupt and hurried. However, when done correctly,
online learning has numerous advantages. Given that universities may not return to in-person classes for
at least a few months longer, and that some experts estimate it will take up to a year before a
coronavirus vaccine becomes commercially available, this should be welcome news for all those
planning to attend university in 2020.The influence of online classrooms on students is that, while there
is no substitute for direct human interaction, virtual classes offer a seamless transition from traditional
classes. Online courses require more drive and self-discipline than traditional classroom courses. More
conversation engagement leads to improved learning outcomes, according to all education research.
Students are more likely to complete the course and experience profound learning that sticks with them
for longer, as well as to feel content and gratified by the learning experience, if there is a high level of
engagement. The quarantine time has made our teaching team and kids more proactive, according to
Mrs Sangeeta Hajela, Principal, DPS Indirapuramalso. Students are given video and reference links
before class to give them a sense of the entire session; it also gives them a window for preparation,
which leads to improved engagement during class assignments." The study's goal was to figure out what
factors influenced student satisfaction and performance on online courses during the Covid-19
pandemic, as well as the relationship between the two. These four variables are critical for pedagogical
management in order to achieve high levels of satisfaction and performance for online courses. During
the COVID-19 outbreak, this study is being conducted to see how online education affects student
learning results.
