The garden of Kashmir that I loved
The nightingale of the atmosphere of this garden is captive. We have inherited Adam's property Our homeland is a paradise. Preface:
The purpose of the author in compiling this
volume was to bring together in compact form correct illustrations and events occurring in Kashmir. Most of the events recorded in this book occurred. This book is intended mainly for the freedom of the Kashmiri people. To young people, this book should be of value and inspiration. The initial portion is the description and study of different events occurring in Kashmir, its history, its current scenarios. How the Indians have taken a complete charge on Kashmir valley? The next part describes the attitude of Kashmiri Muslims that how they are doing struggle for peace. One may notice a perceptible change in my writing style. Most of the content is written in an easy dialogue to engage readers constantly. I assure you to go through this project thoroughly to know a bit more and facts about the events occurring in Kashmir. Chapter 1: Wave of Despair In a village in Kashmir, there lived a nightingale on a tree. He used to giggle but now he had stopped chirping. He smelled gunpowder in the air. He saw blood mixed in the water of the waterfall. Now he sat sadly on a tree branch. His eyes were fixed on the mud houses of a distant village. Peaceful people lived in this village. They were busy with their fields or household chores all day. They were not aware of what was happening in the country or the world, but things had changed in the last two weeks. A contingent of Indian troops had come to the village. From then on, the air smelled of gunpowder and the water was bloody, and the nightingale stopped singing in its beautiful voice, and the peace of the village seemed to be destroyed. Noor was waiting for his father. Five years had passed when she last saw his father. They used to live peacefully in the beautiful valley of Kashmir. It is a hill between the Great Himalayan Range and the Pir Panjal mountain range. It is a place of purity and natural beauty painted by Allah. It has a beautiful lifestyle for people. Kashmir contains a form of terrains starting from lakes, cover mountains, cone bearing hills to geological formation fed rivers. On one hand, the geographic area is filled with untouched tract and on the opposite, there are lands of peanuts and orchards of oranges awaiting for their cultivation. They have gardens of flowers filled with roses. Noor was a sensitive and delicate girl. Her father was her total universe. She was very close to her father. Even so, she was her father's only daughter. She remembered the moments when her father was with her. Ever since Kashmir was occupied by the Indian army, Noor's Father Muhammad Ali has risen for struggle (jihad) against tyranny. He joined other Kashmiri soldiers in the jihad against oppression. Recruiting troops had imposed a curfew in the valley. People were imprisoned in their homes and when they came out, Indian forces rained tear gas on them. Indian forces are used to shell on people. This moment was no less than a resurrection. In that case, she would have been shocked to think of her father. she did not know whether he was alive or fighting the Kashmir war, he would lose his life. she didn't want to think of anything bad. She remembered his father's advice. He used to say, "Daughter, never despair of God's mercy." But what does she do? She was very close to her father. She talked to him about everything. Her mother was busy with household chores and she would spend the whole day waiting for her father. Nowadays, schools were closed due to curfew, so she would spend the whole day thinking about it. The situation was such that she would be forced to think about all this. Just yesterday's story seemed to be that she used to go to school with his friend Wania. How Wania was brutally murdered by the Indian forces in front of her mother when they two were alone at home. After hearing all these incidents, she felt bad. Will this Ramadan also pass without Baba? Noor thought. She has spent many previous Ramadan and Eids without her father. The Indian troops had occupied his village a few days earlier, but the other areas of Kashmir had been facing this issue for a long time. Chapter 2 :A brief Death She wondered if she would be able to meet her father. Or spending time with her father like most Kashmiri children would be just a wish. She remembered the incident of Abdul Rehman, a child living in his neighborhood. Abdul Rehman was a very innocent boy. He had a beautiful little house in the beautiful valley of Kashmir. He lived happily with his little and cute sister and with his parents and grandparents. One happy day, he was going to pray in Masjid with his father. They left the house happily. His younger sister ordered him, "Brother, bring me chocolates when you get back from the mosque." But who knew they would never return home. Destiny had written about the separation of these two. Abdul Rehman and his father were on their way to the mosque. They were stopped by Indian soldiers on the way to Mosque. His father hid Abdul Rehman behind him. Maybe he knew what was going to happen. A recruited terrorist said showing his Gun to them. Hand over the child to us. Abdul Rahman’s father felt as if his entire universe was being plundered. He hid Abdul Rehman behind him and said, "Take whatever you want from me. Nothing bad should happen with my son." Indian terrorists laughed at him. They said, "We have no concern from you. We want this child." We will make this child a soldier like us who eliminates people like you." Abdul Rehman Baba opposed them. The Indian officer stepped forward and aggressively pulled the child. Abdul Rehman who was very innocent said I will not become a terrorist like you. I will save my Kashmir from beasts like you. I will sacrifice my life for my country. One day Pakistani forces will eliminate beasts like you. But how did this little child know these things? From his grandfather. Yes, his grandfather used to tell him secret stories. He also listened with great interest. Because he was a patriotic boy. From childhood, he was taught to love his homeland. The Indian terrorists became furious when they heard his words. A terrorist stepped forward and grabbed the child. Abdul Rahman’s father tried to save him and resisted. A recruited terrorist stabbed his father in the abdomen with three bullets in front of Abdul Rehman. There was darkness in front of Abdul Rahman’s eyes. He could not see his father bathed with blood. He shouted, "You are a very ruthless man. You killed my father. My God will take revenge on you. He was sobbing. Kashmir will be ours and ours. Kashmir is a paradise and infidels cannot go to paradise. All these things were taught to him by his grandfather. Today this little soul said all this. The recruits became furious at this. They started shelling him. Tear gas rained down on him. A terrorist said, "Now look at your paradise with these bad eyes." Abdul Rahman’s father lay dead on the ground. Abdul Rehman also fell to the ground covered in blood. His blood was irrigating the sacred land of Kashmir. Noor trembled with fear at the thought of all this. Tears well up in her eyes as she thinks about all this. When Noor saw Abdul Rahman’s sister sad, tears would come to her eyes. Abdul Rahman’s sister still thought that he would be back. It was a doomsday scene for his family. But like other Kashmiri families, they had to be patient Chapter 3: Silent Tears Muhammad Ali, who had been away from home for years, was engaged in jihad against the Indians, He often cried remembering his daughter and family. One day he was sitting in a soldier's camp and was thinking about his family. Will they be alive or not? Will I be able to see them again? Lost in those thoughts, he often remembered his daughter's innocent words. But he still had something to do for many other Kashmiri daughters. He was lost in those thoughts when he heard the cry from outside. It was very dark and he saw the Indian soldiers grabbing a little boy. He couldn't see the horrible scene. The boy's hands were tied and he was shouting from pain. Muhammad Ali stood up and slipped behind the tree. An Indian soldier heard his footsteps. The Indian soldiers may not have known that the Kashmiri forces had set up a new camp here with the help of Pakistan. That's why they were here with the child. The terrorist pointed to another terrorist. He found out that Muhammad Ali was to be targeted. He shot the gun at Muhammad Ali. The bullet hit him in the arm. He became alert. Blood was coming out of his arm. But he did not care for his arm. He had to save this child from those brutal. He worked hard and took his gun. He started firing on these Indian soldiers. Indian soldiers who thought Muhammad Ali had been killed by a bullet got Frightened by the sudden firing. The boy ran behind the tree. Only after a minor skirmish, Muhammad Ali managed to kill the two terrorists. Kashmiri soldiers in the camp also came out from the sound of gunfire. His arm was bleeding badly. Kashmiri soldiers quickly rescued the child and opened his hands. Steps were taken to stop the bleeding from Muhammad Ali's arm. Everyone praised Muhammad Ali for his bravery. How he killed two terrorists even while he was injured. The senior officer became impressed when he heard the story. The senior officer ordered Muhammad Ali to be sent home along with two Kashmiri soldiers. Muhammad Ali denied that he was alright. He said that He wants to fight for Kashmiris. He wants to join the jihad against oppression. But other soldiers in the camp also tried to force Muhammad Ali to go home. They knew how long Muhammad Ali had been performing his duties well. As soon as the night was over, Muhammad Ali had to make his way home. On the one hand, he was sad that he would not be able to take part in jihad for a few days. But he would have been happy to think of the family and Noor. At least this year, he will spend Enid with his family. How happy her daughter would be to see him? Thinking this, he forgot his injured arm. He was waiting for the morning. Allah had heard Noor's prayer and they were going to spend coming to Eid together. Chapter 4:The Happiness of Little Soul Muhammad Ali had left for home. He was eager to meet his daughter and other family members. He was so happy. He was going to spend Eid with his family after 5 years. The next day was Eid day. He decided to buy clothes, shoes, and bangles for his wife and Noor. He wanted to make them happy. He bought things for them from the market. Noor was sitting at home remembering her father as usual. And her mother was busy with household chores. Suddenly the doorbell rang. Noor went and opened the door. There was no place for her happiness. It all felt like a dream. She could not believe her eyes. Seeing her father five years later was nothing less than a miracle for her. Muhammad Ali warmly met his daughter. At this moment Noor's mother also arrived. It was as if spring had come to their house many days later. Muhammad Ali gave them clothes and shoes. Noor was very happy to see all this. The next day was Eid day. They had a very happy day. Noor said to her father, "father, we will have Eid together after full five years. I am very excited." His father said that once Kashmir is liberated and made a part of Pakistan then we will have many happy Eids. Noor replied innocently. "Who are the people occupying Kashmir? What do they want?" Father People call Kashmir a paradise but it is not so bad with the people in paradise. She continued. Look, Daughter. Muhammad Ali spoke up. Kashmir is so beautiful that it seems like a small part of paradise on earth. Its beauty cannot be compared to the whole world. Kashmir has been always more precious than a mere place. It's the quality of an experience, or a state of mind, or maybe a perfect. And the disbelievers want to take over this paradise completely. According to the law, wherever there is a Muslim majority, Muslims get power. And where Hindus have a majority, Hindus get power. But India is not doing justice. India is forcibly occupying the Muslims of Kashmir. India also violates UN principles. He does not allow Kashmir to become part of Pakistan. But the Kashmiri people will not give up. Many Kashmiris were martyred in this struggle. We will not allow their blood to be wasted. Kashmir will come as an independent state. God will help us in our struggle for freedom. We will not give up. Noor's father was a true patriot. And the same passion was born in his daughter. Noor said excitedly. "Kashmir will become Pakistan". Paradise has not been given to any disbeliever. With some enthusiasm, they started preparing for Eid. Noor thought she would do jihad with her pen. They had to get up early in the morning because it was Eid morning. Noor pressed her and father's clothes and completed all the preparations. She was very happy to celebrate Eid with her father and it will be a lot of fun. And so her father was happy to celebrate Eid with the family five years later. They lie down on the bed to sleep. Chapter 5:Valley Of Opression Since the time the Indian Army involved Kashmir, Kashmiris didn't rest calmly. All they dreaded was that the Indian armed force would not assault them. All things considered, this is how the Indian Army has been doing numerous years. The Kashmir debate started at the hour of the subcontinent's segment. The historical backdrop of Kashmir is gone head to head with the historical backdrop of the more extensive Indian landmass and along these lines the nearby districts, containing the spaces of Central East Asia, South West Asia, and East West Asia. Generally Kashmir has commented the Kashmir valley. It means a wider space that includes the Indian associated regions of Jammu and Kashmir. In 1947, Kashmir's populace was 67% Muslim and three hundredth Hindu. The maharajah asked to stop arrangement with West Pakistan, that guaranteed coherence of exchange, travel, correspondence, and comparative administrations between them. Such an acknowledgement was incomplete with India. Following mobs mobs in Kashmir, in October 1947, Pashtuns from Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkha selected by the Poonch fighters, attacked its land area, along the edge of the Poonch fighters, seemly offended by the barbarities against Muslims in Jammu. The folks occupied with robbers and executing on the techniques. The evident point of the instigators was to scare Hari Singh in his shelter. All things being equal, the emperor engaged the government of India for help, and consequently the Governor-General Lord Mountbatten joined depending on the prerequisite that the ruler acquiesces to India. When the maharajah marked the act of Accession, Indian troopers entered Jammu and drove the Pakistanis irregulars from pretty much a little part of the state. In the middle of 1948, India needed an aim of the Kashmir Conflict at the UN. Following the system of the United Nation Commission for India and West Pakistan (UNCIP), the UN Security Council passed the resolution of 1947 on 21 month of 1948. The UN mission demanded that the assessment of individuals of J&K need to be found. The then Indian Prime Minister is reportable to possess himself encouraged U.N. to survey topographical area and on the rationale of results, Kashmir's increase are going to be set. Still India demanded that no vote may happen till the entirety of the states had been gotten free from irregulars. Since the time the division of the sub-landmass in 1947, the establishments were masterminded the long-standing struggle in and around the areas of Jammu and Kashmir that perseveres nowadays. India and West Pakistan have battled 3 conflicts over the domain there, and each state keeps on saying claims over its whole space. China conjointly holds an outsized bit of the challenged domains. Strains and uncertain complaints around these noteworthy questions actually feed more extensive provincial flimsiness and sabotage endeavors for neutralization inside the area. Regions regulated by India and West Pakistan are separated by the street of the board (LoC). This comprises a challenged line inside the disputable area. This line is cheerfully challenged by Indian and Pakistani militaries generally prompting cross-fire and loss of lives. Explosions of brutality eject regularly on numerous political partitions, fundamentally between Indian security powers and aggressor associations challenging Indian standard on the Indian feature of topographical district. The LoC split a few families, with people stuck on one or the other feature of the gap unfit to go to family members and companions. Exchange across the street has conjointly been intermittent, and throughout the long periods of rough clash, the shifted populaces of Jammu and Kashmir on one or the other aspect of the LoC got separated and dubious of each other option.
Regardless of an amazingly equipped deadlock
hounding among India and West Pakistan and a sporadic respective discourse technique at the authority level, common society in India, West Pakistan, and on one or the other aspect of the LoC in the topographical district has proceeded to effectively advance commitment across isolates. Notable measures since 2004 to restore a few connections across the LoC are high as can be upheld by the overall population directly across the topographical district. These openings supply expect greater coordinated effort and peacebuilding across the LoC. Chapter 6: The Bleeding Souls Muhammad Ali and his family were sleeping peacefully. Noor was so happy that she can't sleep properly. She was eagerly waiting for the morning so that she can spend the best Eid day with her father and family. She fell asleep thinking this. There was complete silence in the house. Sounds of crickets chirping can be heard. Muhammad Ali was thinking of the child he had saved. That How can he live without his parents? At the same time, he heard a knock on the door. Who can be at the door this time? He got up in shock. He knew the whole situation about what was happening outside in the bloody streets of Kashmir. He got up and walked slowly towards the door. He wanted to hear the voices from the inside. The noise was heard from all over, along with the sounds of some weapons. He did not open the door and went into the house to protect his daughter and wife. But they, the tyrant terrorist, breaks down the door with anger and entered the house. Noor and her mother had also woken up from her sleep. Noor was shocked to see these oppressors. Noor's father resisted. Noor's father saw that the soldiers were armed with modern weapons. One of them screamed. Where did you hide Saleh Ahmed? Muhammad Ali was astonished. Who is Saleh Ahmed? I don't know any Saleh Ahmed. An Indian soldier said, "You are lying". An Indian soldier stabbed Muhammad Ali in the chest with his full force. Muhammad Ali felt as if his ribs were breaking. He fell to the ground. Seeing this Noor screamed with sorrow. Muhammad Ali's wife stepped forward to support him. The Indian soldiers thought she was coming to attack them. An Indian soldier straightened his gun and stabbed him in the abdomen. Muhammad Ali's wife's entrails fell to the ground. Her last scream was horrible. Her parents fell to the ground in front of Noor's eyes. His mother was probably dead. Muhammad Ali was probably breathing. Noor was crying loudly. Muhammad Ali fainted from the shock. Noor felt as if his whole universe was destroyed. A soldier stepped forward and cut Noor's throat. She screamed and gave up his life. Darkness fell before her eyes. Her dreams were shattered. His last wish to celebrate Eid with his father was not fulfilled. Like many other houses, this house was also ruined. Muhammad Ali was lying face down on the ground Noor's tiny body was lying on the ground and beside her mother was lying dead. The locals heard their screams. But they did not dare to come and support them. Because Indian soldiers were marching all over and they wanted to save their families from those brutal. The Muslims of the valley live a miserable life in horror and terror caused by many thousands of Indian troopers. Thousands of Kashmiris have lost their lives in this past year at the hands of the Indian military.
Pakistan has invariably raised its voice for the liberation
of Kashmir since 1948. The unresolved United Nations agenda to carry a vote in Indian-occupied Kashmir is like growth in international human awareness. If not treated with wisdom and sagacity, it'll be the final word threat to the peace and stability of South Asia. Chapter 7: Dark Morning It was nighttime. When Muhammad Ali's eye was opened. For a long time, he stared at the roof blankly. His memory was returning slowly. He was feeling pain in his chest. Then he got up suddenly. The dead body of his wife was lying in a corner. Then he started screaming. There was a lot of pain in those screams. He had seen Noor's decapitated body. Muhammad Ali's world had become dark. His life purpose was diminished with his family. Then he became silent. It sounded like death. It is a matter of man's subconscious mind who always tries to save his life from death and death follows him. Whatever in the form of accident and disease but the end death dominates. Love of life creates fear of death. Muhammad Ali had no one of his own and now he had no love for life. Now he had to take revenge. Until now, there were no terrorists in the village. Now a terrorist named Muhammad Ali was born from the womb of oppression. Muhammad Ali came out of his room. He drew his gun and intended to take revenge on the oppressors. He was deeply saddened by the murder of his dearest daughter Noor and Beloved wife. He didn't care about anyone anymore. There was no one in his life whom he cared about. The dead bodies of his wife and daughter kept coming to his mind. His direction was towards the Indian army camp. Without thinking that he was alone, he decided to take revenge on them. At some point in his way, he had found a friend who was with him in military exercises. Muhammad Ali burst into tears. He was crying and told her friend the story of his family murder. His friend encouraged him. He shared his thoughts with his friend. After hearing all this his friend said, “You got it wrong. Why did we take up arms? Why did you get the weapon picked up? We wanted peace. We wanted freedom. They forced us to take up arms because of their atrocities. We all have the same story." His friend Hassan Ahmed spoke sadly. Truth be told, but I want freedom and peace as well as revenge. Muhammad Ali said in a decisive tone. That is why I am here. We had received news that Indian troops were committing atrocities here but unfortunately, it took us a while to arrive. There was an embarrassment in Hassan Ahmed's voice. There was a nightingale nest on the tree. She had been watching the atrocities for two weeks. Now she was looking at the people who had come to take account. The bud of happiness blossomed in the heart of the nightingale. She spoke happily ko ko ko. Chapter 8: The Revenge Quest Let us go. At Hassan Ahmed’s voice, his hidden comrades also came out. Then all together they moved towards the cantonment. It was nighttime. They passed through a barren area. There they saw a faint light coming from the hut. As they approached the hut, a woman's squeaking sound came from inside. They became curious. When they entered the house, an old woman was sitting and crying. They looked at each other intently. Hassan Ahmed asked, "what happened mother." How do you live alone in this desolate area? And tell us why you are crying. We are Mujahids fighting against Indian oppression. We will not hurt you." The old woman, who had been silent until now, spoke up, "about 10 years ago from today My young son went for a picnic with his friends. And these tyrants annihilated him and his friends. The Indian military wanted to forcibly recruit those five young men. They wanted to make them a terrorist of their kind. Those who kill and loot innocent children and people without any reason. But those young men resisted. And all of them were brutally killed. My son was my whole universe. But his departure ruined my world. I live alone in this desert with the same hope that someday this valley will be free from the cruel jackals. Muhammad Ali and his friends became so sad. They were determined to save the Kashmir Valley from these oppressors. Muhammad Ali had tears in his eyes. He knew the pain of losing a child. He did not forget the loss of his wife and daughter. He got up and traveled with his companions to the Indian camps.
Chapter 9: Peace in the Storm
They reached the Indian Army camps. All the Indian
soldiers were sleeping peacefully in a large room after playing devilish games. Two guards were guarding them. But they, too, were now asleep in their chairs all night long. Muhammad Ali has stopped everyone behind. It was his revenge. In this revenge, he did not accept anyone’s honor. Then he moved on. Before his eyes, were the bodies of his wife and his dearest daughter Noor. His gun was raised. And then it was dead in the air. A few moments passed like this. Then he heard the whisper of Hassan Ahmed from behind. Attack, we are with you. Take revenge on your wife and daughter and of all those citizens of Kashmir. But Muhammad Ali listened to him. The gunned hand had come down. Then he began to take steps to return. What happened? Why did you stop? Hassan Ahmed’s astonishment was palpable. They killed my wife and daughter and many other innocent children of Kashmir including the little boy Abdul Rehman and the young man of that old woman. There was a storm of sorrow and grief in my being. I came to take revenge on them and it is not difficult for me. I just stopped to think about what will happen to his wife and children after the death of all of them. This is not the way of freedom. This is not the way to peace. I will look for the path that will lead us to freedom and peace. I will find it. Muhammad Ali threw his gun and went ahead. Hassan Ahmed was looking at him as if he were a man from another world and the Hindu military dreamers were asleep. He did not know who had killed him the previous night and begging spit on his life. Muhammad Ali had chosen the path of peace by walking on it he had to gain freedom for himself and others. He wanted freedom by walking on the straight path. If he had killed these Indian soldiers today, they would have killed more Kashmiris tomorrow. And this bloody war would never end. But he took the straight path. They had to fight this war with peace. Because Peace and Love are the essences of all religions. Now it depends on the person who follows them. There was a ray of hope in his heart. One day Kashmir will be saved from tyrants. Because the world calls Kashmir a paradise. And no disbeliever will get Paradise. Blurb This book was written because of the current situation in Occupied Kashmir. This is a short novella of a girl living in Kashmir. The girl has a sensitive and loving personality. This book completely describes that the Kashmiri people are fighting for their rights with peace. They don’t use any illegal means to free themselves from the Indians.
