GENERAL INSTRUCTION: Read carefully the mechanics below and understand the instructions
given. Follow the mechanics carefully and do the tasks as instructed. Everything regarding the
Examination has been explained below. For clarifications, you may contact your subject
teacher.

Mechanics:

1. Each one is required to do the task individually.

2. You will be performing a PERSUASIVE SPEECH using only one of this hashtags as your
topic

 These hashtags are the topics and they also provide you a clue as to how will you make
your Thesis Statement which is also the side that you will choose. Again, choose one as
your main topic. These hashtags should be properly studied so that you can have
effective speech. Research well and analyze properly.

3. After choosing the topic, one must write a Persuasive Essay with all the important
elements in the essay present as discussed (refer to the link
https://courses.lumenlearning.com/boundless-communications/chapter/introduction-to-
persuasive-speaking/ ) the words should not be below 800 with at least three sentences per
paragraph. The essay should also be consisted with six paragraphs. Make sure to apply and
credible sources and also use APA, 7th edition Citation and Referencing.
4. Format of Persuasive Essay Times New Roman. Size 12. 1.5 spacing.
5. Once you are done writing the Persuasive Essay, Perform it through a short video presentation
by recording yourself using any camera devices and enhance it by using FREE Video
applications available online/offline.
6. There is no required costume, props, and also buying of any editing apps. Use the free
applications available online.
7. The video must not less than three (3) minutes and not more than five minutes.
8. Therefore, you will have two submissions: (1) PERSUASIVE ESSAY, and (2) PERSUASIVE
(SPEECH through video presentation) using the Persuasive Essay you have made.
9. Rubrics will be provided below.
10. The submission of your output will be in the Google Classroom particularly at the
Classwork.
11. Upload your video with this file name format: MABUHAY_ANNA_2NDMONTHLYEXAM
12. Deadline of submission for your PERSUASIVE ESSAY will be on November 12, 2021 at
05:00 pm and the deadline for you PERSUASIVE SPEECH will be on November 19, 2021
at 05:00 pm.
