INTRODUCTION

Electric generator is a device which converts mechanical energy

to electrical energy.

Electric generator produces energy with the help of solar energy,

Wind energy, Tidal energy.

OBJECTIVE

To produce electric power with the help of DC motor and wind

energy.

In this process wind energy is used to run the DC motor.

PROCEDURE
• Take a wooden frame and fix the DC motor to the wooden
frame.
• Caps are fixed to the compact disc and then the whole setup is
fixed to the DC motor
• Caps fixed to the DC motor uses the wind and helps in the
rotation of DC motor
• Electric bulb is fixed to the wooden frame
• DC motor is connected to the electric bulb through electric
wires.
The rotation of DC motor with the help of wind energy produces
electric energy.

Electrical energy produced helps the bulb to glow.

WORKING
1. Wind energy is used by the compact disc helps in the rotation of
DC motor.
2. The energy acquired by DC motor through rotation is converted
into electric power.
3. Wind energy is converted to electrical energy.

RESULT
1. Wind energy source is used to produce electric energy. This is
an eco-friendly process. This does not require fuel burning.
