Dear Parents and Carers,

Grade 4/5 and Grade 5/6 Excursion – Bruny Island Cruise with Pennicott Wilderness Journey

We have organised an amazing excursion opportunity for our Grade 4/5 and Grade 5/6 classes: a cruise around
Bruny Island and the D'Entrecasteaux Channel. This excursion has been organised to complement our units in
Biological sciences, which investigates the growth and survival of living things, and the cross-curriculum
emphasis on sustainability.

We will be leaving school at 9.30am, it is important that children are at school by 9.20am at the latest. We
will be walking to the Woodbridge Jetty and departing for a 3 hour cruise, leaving at 10:00am. We will be
arriving back at school by 2:30pm.

Please fill and return the attached Major Excursion Form by Wednesday 25 th November 2020.

Your child will need:

• A packed drink
• A packed morning tea and lunch
• A hat
• Wet weather jacket for over school uniform
• Sturdy shoes.
