BASIC DESIGN
PROJECTS OR DESIGN BREIFS
ELEMENT OF DESIGN
Line- is a mark between two points by a writing tool. A line can be created with
many writing tools namely pencils, ballpoints, pens, quill pens, crayons or even
paint brushes.
Line can be thick or thin long or short. There is a variety of different lines
namely horizontal, vertical diagonal, curved, zigzagged and transitional. The
varieties can be of their original form or they can show movements and patterns.
AIMS
-To develop good sketching skills.
-To learn how to use varying tones, lines and pencil techniques, in producing a
drawing.
-To develop good observation skills.
