Maintain clean mailing lists checking the validity of recipient's email addresses...
If your database contains incorrect email addresses, this disadvantages you in two ways. First, you have
to put up with annoying 'undeliverable' messages. And second, you lose the ability to communicate by
email with your contacts. Email Verifier checks the validity of your email addresses without actually
sending messages.

1.- Overview
Email Verifier is a very effective piece of software that can verify over 10 emails per second. It can verify
both single email addresses and lists. eMail Verifier is multithreaded, providing high speed verifying. It is
your powerful solution for the standard "message delivery error." Email Verifier can verify every email
address from a given mailing list allowing you to determine 80-90% of "dead" email addresses.

eMail Verifier works on the same algorithm as ISP mail systems do. Addresses for email are extracted
from a Domain Naming Server (DNS) and eMail Verifier tries to connect with SMTP-servers and
simulates the sending of a message. It does not send the message though - eMail Verifier disconnects
as soon as the mail server informs the program whether the address exists or not.

eMail Verifier can save time and money for businesses who send newsletters to their clients, nonprofit
organizations who send bulletins to their members, or any person or business that needs to maintain a
clean email contact list.

2.- Getting Started

Launch eMail Verifier. An untitled document is created. This document is split into two parts, the list on
the top and a tab panel with 3 panels at the bottom giving access to the overall results and statistics,
the detailed SMTP server response and the DNS lookup details of each address in the list and the
connection log.

The document lets you select between two testing options, Single email and Email list file. Use the
radio button to select the right option depending on your needs. Once you are ready to verify your
addresses, press the Start button.
Note that you need to have access to port 25 for this to work. If you're operating within a restrictive
firewall, as most users of large ISPs are, then you won't be able to use this tool. You need either
unrestricted access or a hole in your corporate firewall for port 25 access. This software does what your
SMTP email server does, which is confirm that the person exists before sending the message. Smaller
local ISPs don't use to block port 25.

3.- How to register...

eMail Verifier is distributed as shareware. If you want to get rid of this annoying registration dialog at
launch and want to be able to verify more than 15 e-mails, you can register for only $30 US using
whichever of the following online processing services located at: (Secure Verisign connection server).

not provide technical support for eMail Verifier or any of the other programs they handle. For technical
support, contact us at: http://inquiry.maxprog.com/.

Once Kagi processes your payment, which takes up to a couple of hours, they e-mail you a registration
code in a message with subject Thanks for your payment. This code lets you disable the Annoying
unregistered footer notice. If you do not receive your code within a week, contact Kagi at
<admin@kagi.com>. Kagi also accepts postal and Fax orders. You can get more information at
http://www.kagi.com

Once RegNow processes your payment, which takes up to a couple of hours, they e-mail Maxprog in

you do not receive your code within a week, contact Regnow at <orders@regnow.com>.

4.- Features
- Possibility to verify both single email addresses and lists.
- Validates each email address simulating a direct message delivery.
- Possibility to balance domain lookup load between 2 DNS servers.
- Email addresses are verified individually using a set of 80 built-in rules.
- Support for Enhanced Mail System Status Codes.
- Reports detailed information about each test including DNS lookup.
- Fast multi-threaded engine.
- Customizable export function - you can save original data or test results.
- Complete connection log, overall information and statistics.
- Native version for both Mac OS X and Windows.

Note: eMail Verifier verifies every email address from a specified mailing list, allowing you to determine
up to 80% of "dead" mail addresses. For some addresses, such as AOL, Yahoo, and other non-SMTP
mail, you can't verify whether  the address is good or not. You won't know definitively until some
bounce. The mail server won't cooperate. In fact, a few ISP's mail servers are configured in a way they
prevent anybody to find out if an email address is good or not sometimes to protect their customer email
addresses from harvester tools. Consider eMail Verifier as a tool for tracking bad email addresses
instead of validating good ones.
