Therapeutic indications
Zinc oxide paste is used to treat skin disorders , preventing and treating diaper
rash. It can also be used to treat minor skin irritations (eg, cuts, burns, and
scrapes, poison ivy). It works by providing a skin barrier to prevent and help heal
skin irritation."

Posology and method of administration

Apply the paste 1-2 times a day onto the skin and cover it with medical lint.

Special warnings and precautions for use

Keep away from children.
Zinc oxide paste can cause discoloring of clothes.

Side effects
In rare cases zinc oxide paste can cause irritation of the skin especially when used
on open wounds.

Pregnancy and lactation

Zinc oxide paste can be used during pregnancy and lactation without negative
consequences for mother and child.

How to store zinc oxide paste

Store zinc oxide paste at room temperature in the tube and its carton.
Check the expiry date on the label. Do not use after the expiry date stated on the
label.
