about cetirizine capsule
The purpose of my presentation today is to discuss about product knowledge,
composition, application (how to use),indication, storage, side effect, and
conclusion. Let’s start by looking at the slide

 Product knowledge
Cetirizine is one type of antihistamine drugs.This medicine can be used to overcome
symptoms allergic, as the nose beringus, the watery eye, sneezing, the eyes or nose an
itchy, and a rash on the skin.
Cetirizine merupakan salah satu jenis obat-obatan antihistamin. Obat ini dapat digunakan
untuk mengatasi gejala-gejala alergi, seperti hidung beringus, mata berair, bersin-bersin,
mata atau hidung yang gatal, serta ruam pada kulit.

 Composition
Each capsule contains cetirizine dihidroclorid 10 mg
Pharmacology
Cetirizine working hinder the release of histamine in phase the beginning and reduce
migration inflammatory cells
Tiap kapsul Cetirizine mengandung cetirizine dihidroklorida 10 mg.
Farmakologi :
Cetirizine berkerja menghambat pelepasan histamin pada fase awal dan mengurangi
migrasi sel inflamasi.

 Application (how to use)

Dosage and administration :
o Adult and children >12 yr is one capsule one times daily.
o Cetirizine can take before or after meals

Dosis dan pemakaian:

o Dewasa dan anak usia lebih dari 12 tahun adalah 1 x sehari 1 kapsul.
o Cetirizine dapat dikonsumsi sebelum atau sesudah makan.

 Indications
An indication cetirizine are allergies disease , allergic rhinitis , and urticaria
idiopathic chronic.
 Indikasi Cetirizine adalah penyakit alergi, rhinitis alergi, dan urtikaria idiopatik
kronis

Contraindications:
1) Patiens who are hypersensitive to the components of his drug.
2) Breastfeeding mothers
Kontraindikasi:
3) Pasien yang hipersensitif terhadap komponen obatnya.
4) Ibu menyusui

 Side effects
Cetirizine have side effects temporary including: dizzy sick , head , sleepiness ,
agitation , dry mouth and a bad for the stomach .In some patients can occur reaction
hipersensitifitas including skin and angiodema reaction .
Cetirizine mempunyai efek samping yang bersifat sementara diantaranya : pusing sakit,
kepala, rasa kantuk, agitasi, mulut kering dan rasa tidak enak pada lambung. Pada
beberapa penderita dapat terjadi reaksi hipersensitifitas termasuk reaksi kulit dan
angiodema.

 Storage
Store at temperature between 25°-30°C (Normal storage conditions) , protect for light
Simpan pada suhu 25°-30°C (kondisi penyimpanan normal), terlindung dari cahaya.
