Advertisement – Ideology
Advertising is one method of promoting a product or service. Advertising can be seen
on television, heard on the radio, streamed in every geographical location in the
business area, in the form of flyers or catalogues, and even compact disc or flash drives
with the click of a computer, and some companies also place their advertisement in the
newspaper. Every time we turn on the television, we see different advertisements from
different companies, each with a different strategy for presenting those advertisements
in order to attract the attention of prospective customers and retain those loyal
customers. It stimulates the desire of every customer to buy products or use services
through advertising. As a result, the effect of advertising is to create desires. When
people see something advertised, even if they don't really need the product, they try to
buy it or use the service if there is something we call the "value proposition" of the
products being advertised. People wanted to test the product to see if what they saw as
advertised was true or not. Customers will return to you and buy the tried and tested
products or services if it is proven that the product or service truly contains the value
proposition.
The value proposition is the method of testing and using a product or service to determine
whether it has an effect or not. For example, if it is stated in the advertisement that after seven
days of using the soap your skin becomes fairer and whiter, then it must have an effect after
seven days of using it to prove that it has a value proposition.
When the value proposition of a product or service has been proven, you can tell everyone or
the entire world that the product or service can be relied on or trusted, and you should be proud
if you are the owner of that product or service because wherever you go, your loyal customers
as well as prospective customers will be looking for you because those who have tried and
tested your product will be looking for you.
You don't need to advertise as heavily this time.Advertisement has both created and improved
standards. We've all been made to feel insecure. We feel uncomfortable when we are self-
conscious. We buy to alleviate our pain. This is true for everything from deodorants to the ever-
changing fashion styles, cell phones, automobiles, and so on. The idea or concept that the
highly advertised product is superior to all others often leads to rash purchasing decisions. We
buy “brand name” when unadvertised brands may provide us with better value for money. We
must learn to be as cautious with advertising as we are with the products or services we
purchase.
For all concerns, especially consumers, anything that we want to purchase, we must be
cautious whether to accept or believe in the advertisement, especially if it is significantly needed
or not. We must learn to see beyond the flashy images and enticing slogans of the advertisers.
Advertising can be beneficial if we use it wisely.
