Project Summary
A child's reading skills are important to their success in school as they will
allow them to access the breadth of the curriculum and improve their communication
and language skills. On the other hand, most of the students need enhancement in
reading to improve their skills. Giving them the comprehensive type of learning will
help them to understand it well.
Project Background
Project Objectives
This project aims to:
1. To educate the learners the value of reading with comprehension.
2. To help them improve their reading skills when they are not in school
3. To put reading comprehension into practice in real-life circumstances.
Project Methodology
The teachers and students will work together on this project in a
modular/collaborative manner. The teachers will supply instructional materials that
will be provided to each student on a weekly basis (preferably Saturday).
This strategy will help learners in improving their comprehension through the use
of learning materials and strengthening their participation through parental support
on behalf of the teachers. It will also be beneficial for parents to have an idea of their
children's ability and comprehension progress.
