Hi Carla,
I’m having an amazing holiday in New Zealand. It’s a beautiful place. The countryside is quiet and
peaceful and there are lots of sheep. But my holiday is not just quiet and peaceful! Even though it’s a
small country, New Zealand is one of the best places to have big adventures. You can try a different
extreme sport here every day!
One of them is bungy jumping. There is a 43-metre drop from the bridge to the water below. It’s scary to
look down over the edge of the bridge, but jumping is so exciting!
Another fun sport you can do here is white-water rafting. The cold water feels great on a hot day. And on
each side of the river are beautiful mountains. You can go hiking in the afternoon after rafting and take
lots of pictures. I’m sending you one now.
Today, I’m going mountain biking. I’m having so much fun! I wish I didn’t have to go home on Friday. But
I am looking forward to seeing you!
See you soon,
Ben
