Nowadays, it is more convenient and easier for people to travel to other

countries. Is this a positive or negative development?

With the aid of latest development in the transportation industry, such as fast speed
trains and huge airplanes, it is considerable easier to visit other countries now than it
was in the past. However, this trend has both positive (beneficial) and negative
(adverse) influences (impact) on people and countries. This essay will discuss pros
and cons of this phenomenon.
To embark with, the advent of high-speed transportation modes has significantly
reduced time to reach other countries, which encourages a great number of people to
travel nowadays. Thus, individuals have a chance to find out (explore/learn) more
about the lifestyle of people in other countries and engage in their culture expanding
horizons. Furthermore, removing any restrictions for travelers (travelers) by a number
of developed countries, such as UK or UAE, gives people opportunities to find a better
job in abroad or study at the top universities, which definitely would improve their life
condition.
However, despite of obvious benefits of enhancing travelling, it has also several
disadvantages. Political and economic situations in some developing countries are poor,
thus a great number of citizens tend to move to neigbours (neighbor) or overseas
countries to find a peace and stable life. For instance, the war in Ukraine resulted in
huge migration of country population to Europe countries, which negatively affected the
life of locals because of increasing the price of foods and accommodation. In addition,
the migration of people due to weak custom’s restrictions may misbalance (imbalance)
population, which possibly would increase concern among locals and lead to political
disstabilities (dis stabilities).
To sum up, except a number of positive sides of visiting other countries
(international travels) such as a cultural exchange or a finding high salary job, the
huge migration of population may lead to negative consequences too. For this reason, I
believe that, government should restrict visitor’s number as well as making travelling
process easier and comfortable.

The given table displays data collected on the survey about the changes, which took
place in Ashdown museums after its restoration in terms of visitors count and their
satisfaction level during first and second visits. Looking from the overall perspective, it is
evident that, people’s interest in the museum increased consistently, while a higher
volume of visitors shared positive feelings after refurbishment than during the first visit.
To begin with positive responses, the renewing of the museum positively influenced
on total number of visitors, which rose remarkably from 74000 to 92000. The volume of
visitors, who thought satisfied about the museum increased considerable from 30% to
40%, similarly the proportion of people who very satisfied after visiting museum in both
periods saw remarkable increase from 15% to 35%.
In terms of negative feedbacks, the largest percentage of visitors were dissatisfied
with visiting the museum, at 40% of total responses, however this figure fell significantly
to 15% after restoration. Meanwhile, the figure for very dissatisfied (tourists) dropped
from 30% to 5% after the second visit. Interestingly that, the volume of people who did
not response were equal during the both surveys.
