Essay Final Exam – Job Description

My name Nopika Aryaningsih I work at Anara Airport Hotel in Pastry


Department as a Commis Pastry & Bakery my responsibilities provide the highest
level of hospitality service to the hotel guests, work in pastry section report to
Executive Pastry Chef. Be able to prepare and produce a quality product of pastry
for the guests . Responsible to maintain cleanliness , sanitation of the hygiene in
work area . Daily job is make a bread , cake and cookies according to recipe of
quality standars for the event banquet , and for the restaurant ala carte , room
service orders and buffet breakfast , lunch and dinner. Have general knowledge of
cooking temperatures in pastry bakery , need to be flexible and willing to help other
department at busy time.

My Executive Pastry Chef of Ciputra Hotel Jakarta is Mr. Dade


Dermawansyah, he used to work there when I was work there with him . He really
inspired me a lot in Pastry expert of chocolate specialist. The Executive Pastry Chef
responsible is create high quality pastry dishes with the standard recipes and
presentations in order maintain quality standard and consistency of product .
Responsibilities of Mr. Dade as Executive Pastry Chef be able develop , visual
designs decoration on buffet for wedding event create new ideas and items for the
alacarte of pastry create new and exciting desserts to renew hotels menu for engage
interest of curtomers .
