Pass out 4 red solo cups and two cut balloons to students. Two
cups have the base cut off and two should be normal. The
teacher should pre-cut the cups and balloons for students.

Walk around and help students who struggle to get the balloons

Once most students have completed the balloon part, walk

around with a hole puncher and put two holes on both sides at
the tops of the normal solo cups. 25 Mins

Cut string for the students based on the length they need for the
bongos to hang down around their belly buttons.

Show students how to put the string through the cups and how
to tie it off.

Once all students have completed their bongos, gather their

attention.
Perform rhythms on the bongos and speak them at the same
time. Have the students echo the rhythms only on the bongos.

Let them know that tomorrow they will be taking a survey
