music using inquiry skills and music terminology.
MCB.12a The student will demonstrate music literacy. Identify, define, and use basic standard
notation for pitch, rhythm, meter, dynamics, and other elements of music
MCB.13 The student will develop aural skills.
MCB.14 The student will demonstrate vocal techniques and choral skills.

● Sing Part 1 and 2 mm 16-31 with 85% accuracy


● Perform the sight singing activity with 85% pitch and rhythmic accuracy

1. (30 sec): Sightread rhythm on text
2. (2 min): sing in solfege x 2
3. (2 min): sing on words

b. Once all together, then split the class in half
4. (2 min): sing all that we’ve worked on (16-31) on words both parts
a. have everyone come up to part 1 at mm. 24
