HELPFUL NOTES
*After a chain or turning chain you will always work next stitch in same stitch as chain unless otherwise
indicated.
*When the pattern says “join” it means to join with a slip stitch in the top of the beginning stitch of round
or row
*When you see ** followed by a number, that is indicating the number of stitches you should have done in
that row or round, not including chains or slip stitches.
*Instructions within brackets [ ] are a set and need to be done the total number of times indicated after
the brackets. A set also can be done all in one stitch if indicated after the brackets.
*If you are not familiar with a magic loop (magic circle) then you can start with a ch 2 and SC the
indicated number of sts in 2nd ch from hook. Or you can refer to YouTube tutorials.

around the overlapping area and up the middle so the handle
is secure (who knows how much candy will be weighing it
down eventually!). Count 23 stitches to the right (this is the
side you will sew the face on) and line up the edge of the
other end of the handle there. Sew on like you did the other
end, except using the tails from the handle this time.
