Learning Task/Activity

1. Children's literature is great because it helps kids to respond to literature; it teaches


students about their own cultural history as well as that of others; it fosters emotional
intelligence and creativity in students; and it promotes student growth and development.

Assessment
1. When choosing a reading material for a child in English classroom. Teacher must first
consider the interests and needs of the child in order to make sure that all the effort on
choosing the materials will not go to waste. For every child has their taste. Every child
has its own interest. Lastly every child has their own character on which reading
materials has to be paired with.
