Dialogue 1

the food, unlike his children.

Exercise 1:

Communicative Strategies play an important role in the exchange of information. These


strategies are the best fit for a group of people talking about a certain issue and discussing it
with every member. Putting a communication strategy into place allows people to refer to a
standardized plan to interact with others. A communication strategy ensures that everyone
involved has adequate information to communicate about it, maintaining consistency in the
workplace and preventing any misunderstanding.

1. The different types of Communicative Strategies and their definitions

2. It can help me as a person by practicing it when I encounter some group discussions or meetings as
well as in my workplace soon to avoid some sorts of misunderstanding and can deliver the
information/speech well.

ADDITIONAL ACTIVITY:

O - ne must pay attention to grammar and make sure nothing he says can misconstrued

N - ot every speaker is boring, reset and reflect on how you can be interested to hear what a speaker
wants to point out.
