Introduction

At the start of 2020, a pandemic shocked the whole world and put most businesses to

bankruptcy, including drivers, fast food workers, etc. so, the purpose of our research is to find

out why most people specifically tricycle drivers are being challenged to wear face masks in

their everyday life, driving people around.

Statement of the Problem

Goal/Objective Statement:

As tricycle drives, we wanted to see what struggles they had or have during this time of the

pandemic, since there are fewer people trying to commute because of covid-19, we want to ask

them their struggles and wanted to ask them what troubles they were having this pandemic.

Purpose Statement:

This study is to know how the pandemic affected the lives of tricycle drivers.

Research Questions:

1. In your opinion, does the face masks interfere with your work?

2. What were the struggles you’ve experienced while working in the pandemic?

3. How did the pandemic affect your work, and how did you adjust during these

circumstances?

Scope and Delimitation

We would like to know the perspective pf tricycle drivers and their experiences with their work

during this pandemic. Our study consists of tricycle drivers in Taytay Rizal, planning to interview

15 tricycle drivers in the Taytay area. Our main objective is to comprehend each tricycle drivers’

perspective on the mask and why they wish to wear it or not and their experience adjusting to

the pandemic.

Significance of the Study

Our research would help a lot of people, considering there are still people that take public

transportations every day, and since there is a pandemic, people need to ensure about their

safety and other people’s safety, and on order to ensure one’s safety is to wear face masks and

make sure to sanitize properly.
