A very good morning to ms Jaswant my name is Shameen farah and group mate is erica sofea.

For
the topic how can teachers best help studens deal with stress, we have to explain about encouraging
mistakes. As a teacher, we should encourage mistakes from students. As a teacher, we should show
to students that it is okay to make mistakes. This is because as a human being, we all should learn by
making mistakes. Some students may be terrified of slipping up and making mistakes, this may lead
to less confidence that eventually will make the student feel more stressed about that particular
subject or lesson.

Moving on, when teachers encourage mistakes, this increases motivation and self esteem in
students. The increase of motivation and self esteem in students will help student to deal with stress
as they have more confidence in learning the lesson. Next, when teachers encourage mistakes and
add in ideas, students will see how worthwhile their effort is. This will help student deal with their
stress as they will feel appreciated and tend to work harder willingly without feeling forced.
Teachers can also Starts by prompting students to questions like ‘what i could have done better’, to
allow the students to think and give their ideas. By this way, students will feel like their idea is being
appreciated and valued. Lastly, teachers should encourage mistake by not teasing students if they
make mistakes. This is because it will make students feel stressed and give up to try. Instead,
teachers should give alternate idea, and encourage them to build each other up too

To summarize, By encouraging students to not afraid in making mistakes, it will help students to deal
with stress effectively because it wont burden the students with their mistakes, thinking they did
something really bad or wrong. When students can deal with stress effectively, this may result in
doing better in classes and getting higher marks in examinations
