Photography
Sheridan offers the only business-focused professional photography
degree program in Canada, and one of the best in North America.
Program Eligibility
Ontario Secondary School Diploma or
equivalent, including these required courses:
• One English, Grade 12 (ENG4U)
Career Opportunities
Graduates of Sheridan’s Honours Bachelor of Photography program begin their
plus photography careers as assistants or freelance photographers, and then work their way

Applicant Selection
Eligible applicants are selected on the basis of
their previous academic achievement (the average
of their six highest senior-level credits, including
required courses), and the results of their portfolio,
questionnaire and participation in an information
session. There is a portfolio assessment fee.
Applicants who do not meet the admission
requirements for this program will be assessed
and advised individually and may be considered for
other, related programs.
Ministry Consent
Sheridan has been granted consent by the Ministry
of Advanced Education and Skills Development
to offer this applied degree for a seven-year term
starting June 12, 2017. Sheridan will ensure that
