• Ensure that only containers that have been
heavy weight tested to a minimum of 30,480
kilograms are used.
• Ensure the containers are no older than 5 years.
• Ensure that containers are in excellent condition.
• No repair on side walls and no damages on the
floor.
• Foodgrade containers only – free of odors.

• Sweep the container carefully with a broom.

• Ensure that the door bolts are silicon covered

• Ensure that nails and other objects that may damage/puncture the flexitank are removed.
• Cover potential uneven areas on the walls and on the floor with duck tape (thick tape).

Open the E-flex box and ensure that the following are in the package:
1. E-flex
2. Warning labels
3. Two cable ties
4. Adhesive Tape

The box will be used as door protection board. DO NOT


throw it away!

 Position the E-flex to the edge of the left door.
 Unroll the E-flex into the container.
 Make sure not to step on the E-flex while unrolling.
 Make sure not to wear shoes during the fitting operation.
 The door end of the E-Flex should be at the point
where the wooden floor side meets the metal door
frame.

E-Flex Flexible Harness…
 E-flex has to be fastened to the lashing rings in the
container to avoid sliding during transportation.
 Not all containers have the same lashing ring
configuration. Approximate your container to the
drawing.

BELT TYING 1 : NOSE DIRECTION

 Tie the straps to the


lashing rings as shown
with the arrows.
 Ensure that straps are
tight (but do not lift
corners off the floor)
and knots are secure.

BELT TYING 2 : DOOR DIRECTION

 Repeat the same tying on the door side.


 Ensure the straps are tight but the corners of
the E-Flex are not lifted off the floor by the
tightness of the straps

DOOR PROTECTION :

Although 20cm free space remains between E-flex and the doors after filling, a protective
operation against the sharp edges of the bolts on the doors is required.

The box will be used as a door protector. Collapse the box as shown.

DOOR PROTECTION : OPTION 1

If the fitting operation is being done at the filling location, place the board
between the E-flex and doors.
Please ensure that plastic supported area which remains between the two sides
of the collapsed box, is downwards.

DOOR PROTECTION : OPTION 2

If the filling and fitting areas are different then please follow the below instructions.
 Cut the board into two pices from the joint corners.

 Suspend them to the door closing bars.

 Fix the cut pieces of the board to the door by the provided adhesive tapes.

 Repeat the same to the door on the right.

• Fill in the provided Check List and stick it to the door on the right hand side

WARNING:

IMPROPER FITTING MAY CAUSE CAPACITY PROBLEMS, INNER LAYERS MAY GET
STUCK AND STRETCH. THIS MAY CAUSE SEVERE LEAKINGS.

IF FITTING OPERATION HAS BEEN PERFORMED AT ANOTHER LOCATION, PLEASE


ENSURE THAT THE BI-FLEX HAS NOT MOVED DURING LOCAL TRANSPORTATION.

• We have 2 or 3 inch valve alternatives.
• Valves have male cam-lock connection.
• According to your 2 or 3 inch preference you will need to have a female camlock
coupling.

READY FOR FILLING...

• Connect the hose to the valve.
• Make sure that protective bonnet spout is unrolled.
• Make sure that the hose is suspended at the top of the container by using a strap.
• Make sure that you have chosen a light weight filling hose.

• Start loading the E-flex.
• WARNING:
• Ensure that the start up pumping speed does not exceed 300 lt /min (80 GPM) until the E-flex
rises to an approximate height of 50 cm (roughly the first 5-6,000 litres) , then increase the
speed up to 800lt/min (210 GPM). Please ensure that the filling stations follow this instruction
carefully.
• Generally filling will take aproximattely 50 minutes.

• When the flexitank is loaded, remove the hose.
• Attach the cap of the valve and fasten it.
• Fasten the bonnet cover with a cable tie over the body of the valve.
• Twist the bonnet and make a “swan-neck” folding.
• Fasten with the provided second cable tie once again.

Bonnet Closure...

E-flex has two protective bonnets around the inlet to prevent contamination and to act as secondary
containment in case of an incident.
Ensure that Bonnet is well tied according to our instructions.

Bonnet Closure...

Protective Bonnet has two layers of


plastic film.
Both layers must be tied separately.

1. Push the outer layer back to expose


the inner layer.
2. Twist the 1st inner layer.
1 2 2 3. Fold it.
4. Tie it with provided cable tie.
5. Twist the 2nd outer layer.
6. Fold it.
7. Tie the outer layer with provided
cable tie.
