Dear Faculty Members, 26th August, 2021

Team LMS has created LMS FAQ videos to conduct the online EXAMINATIONS in a successful manner. We have
enlisted the guidelines below, which will enable you to conduct the examination seamlessly through LMS. We request
you to follow the guidelines.

1. Finalize bank Ahead of Time: Uploading/Adding/Importing of questions in the concerned course questions in
LMS should complete minimum two days before the scheduled date of the exam. If exam is scheduled in two
batches prepare two question papers with completely different questions as well as for makeup but same pattern
and level should be maintained.

2. Group the students: If students’ strength is large, divide them into different groups and restrict access to the
groups. Group the students in such a way the total number of students taking the exam is 250-280.

3. Don’t label Answers - they will be randomized: Faculty members are advised to put utmost care on the
information of the question-and-answer options as well.

4. No Duplicates: The Faculty members should make sure that there won’t be any duplicate question and answer
options in the question bank.

5. Verification prior to finalization: Course I/C and Faculty members of the concerned course should verify all
the questions and answer options in the question bank. See how they appear to the final user.

6. Review Attempt: Review attempt option while writing the exam is disabled now. However, ensure what
options you are giving while scheduling the examination. (Default: nooptions are checked except “The
attempt” under during the attempt category).

ofthese”..
8. Please DISABLE/ENABLE ‘Shuffle the choices?’ option where ever it is necessary.

9. Faculty members are advised to disable/enable ‘Shuffle the choices?’ option where ever it is necessary.

avoid last-minute confusion.

11. Be advised to use Equation Editor to create equations for better visibility to the students.
