INTRODUCTION

GAMA Foods Corporation was established 2008 and is now a fully integrated poultry industry
now serving dressed chickens to various customers in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. It expanded in 2009
and quickly became one of the country’s biggest players in the poultry industry and at present is one of
the top renowned integrators. From having only breeder farms located in various areas of the province
of Bukidnon, there was a higher demand on Parents Stock, thus a Grand Parent farm was built and
operational. GAMA built also a new high technology Broiler Complex. To be able to support the
business, GAMA Foods established its own Feedmill, Dressing Plant & Ice Plant equipped with advanced
technology located at National Highway, Baloy, Cagayan de Oro City. The dressing plant supports further
processing to cater to the needs of institutional customers. Due to increasing market demand, offices
extended as far as Visayas area such as Cebu City located in Cabancalan, Mandaue City, and in Iloilo
located at Lapaz, Iloilo City

 
GAMA is also the producer and distributor of one of the leading Food Chains in the
Philippines. GAMA chicken also is the reason why poor to middle class family can readily afford Lechon
Manok, selling the lowest price without jeopardizing their quality. GAMA continues to evolve and create
value added products that best suit the pallet of the Filipino people. It’s goal is to provide good, quality
and affordable food to all Filipino people.
BODY

The during the webinar session the guest speaker had a virtual tour on ice plant we able to see
important role on each worker. On the process of ice making was first the ammonia compressors inhales
ammonia gas and discharge to the compressed gas into the condenser.

- What I have learned during the webinar are the step by step process of making an-ice on the Ice
on the Ice plant. It is not an ordinary to do you should be on focus anytime it was tackle also
during the discussion that the making of ice low-pressure and low-temperature of Ammonia
coming from the throttle value is vaporized by taking the latent heat from brine. This cooled
brine further absorbs the heat from water convert water to ice. Vaporised Ammonia is
compressed to high pressure and temperature and passes from condenser . The guest speaker
also state they can make or produce an ice block more than 816 per day . Then it has a weight of
136 kilograms the Ice Plant have many major parts the MCC Panel control room , Refrigerators
compressors evaporators and condenser this equipment has a huge significant role on a Ice
Plant .

- The Industrial Plant Maintenance in the Gama Foods Corporation is one of the most important
factors in the company because it served as the regulator and it maintains the work of the plant
and the system surrounds the plant they are the one who work for maintaining and fixing when
their is a sudden trouble come .The Industrial Plant Maintenance has a big impact of the
company.
 Conclusion

After the webinar discussion as a worker like this who work on a Industrial ice plant take a lot of
courage and determination so that it makes you fee satisfying , enjoy and happy on your field Working
on huge company like GAMA Foods Corporation will never be an easy job for me you need to undergo
pressure and in the same time yourself must be ready all the time when something happen like trouble.

In the near future if I given a opportunity to work same as this type of field this webinar will give
me an idea and inspiration to the guest speaker big thanks and salute to you sir it is a privileged to me
to share your knowledge and expertise on your work industry. It serves for me a motivation to inspire
my work that I planned someday also to all students who strive hard to pursue their dreams in life .

Then lastly I can conclude that experience is the best lesson among all. You can handle a scenario
and experience it with yourself so don’t stop to learn and gain knowledge it represent a treasure to your
self.
