Course Objectives: This course in intended to equip students with the knowledge of Indian Constitution. It aims to introduce Students to some of the important
theoretical approaches to the study of Indian Constitution.

Pre-requisites:
• A student Must be 10+2 and student of B.A. LL.B(integrated Course).

• The student has the basic idea of constitutions in general and Indian Constitution in particular.

Course Learning Outcomes:


• To demonstrate the knowledge of fundamentals of Indian Constitution and to analyze the importance of Indian Constitution today
• Describe the basic structure of Indian constitution and its importance in the processes of government systems as well as their role and functions.
• Able to analysis of a wide range of political issues and problems in the background of the Indian Constitution.
• Analyze and test hypotheses about political processes institutions or engage in conceptual analysis and interpretation of political ideas, arguments, and
phenomena from the stand point of Indian Constitution.
• Evaluate the Political process of India
• Understand the closeness and difference between Human Rights and Fundamental Rights

Pedagogy for Course Delivery:


The signature pedagogy of political science is essentially, a combination of large lecture and smaller group sessions. Political sciences’ signature pedagogy has
remained relatively static. A traditional reliance on lectures, tutorials and private study remains the contemporary basis for teaching and learning in political
science.
