4 Payload Configuration – Location and Drop Mechanism

In order to provide the best payload configuration, we have examined the payload location and
drop mechanisms in several similar projects and examples.

The drop mechanism is generally formed by a hook or rope, which is attached to a controlled
stick. Payload location is available in many different ways. Such as in the body of the aircraft,
under the body of the united, on, or with a long enough rope, can be found under a certain
distance.

As a result of all our observations, we decided to place the drop mechanism inside the body. The
reason for this decision is to keep the drop mechanism safe and to provide aesthetic integrity.
There will be 2 tennis balls under the body. We decided to merge the payload and drop
mechanism with the two fine holes in the bottom of the trunk. Because we wanted the ball to not
affect the aerodynamics of the aircraft at the time of separation.
